You are correct, when a farm area is highly contested, a lock can be a pain, in them cases, i use my wand to get first agro, its just as fast as a bow or gun to get it .

You still need to be standing still and within range though, arcane shot is instant and has a 41yd range, pretty handy for farming and tagging

Hehe - I've said this over and over. Nothing beats a hunter in farming. I rarely find anything that is not contested worth farming anyway. Hunter + 4 locks FTW.
