First Time - Owning Heroics

When i played a couple of years ago I had a multi-class composition group, when I got to heroics I had a tough time!

Now that I've come back to play again I rolled a paladin and 4 x shaman, as I've heard many times how great they are.

As soon as I got to level 70 I was steam rolling heroics! I've ordered WOTLK and CATA, but i'm really enjoying farming heroics, i'm just going for random encounter all the time and destroying each one. I ever finished heroic MGT first time without a single death.

I only created them December 28th what a fun way to spend some holiday time..

The unfortunate thing is that once I get WOTLK on there - their gear will quickly be replaced

this is not really true...
you can do 5-6 levels with the gear imo

At least it's not like Burning Crusade, when all the greens you get from the starter quests replaced everything I had.

Haha, true. Though did you have tier 3 (comparable to ICC epics)? Because I didn't replace that until around 68 blues.

Good to see you smashing heroics. Lvl to 85 quickly and come give us a hand with cata heroic strats :P

That seems more likely to happen when you hit 80 and go to the Cata zones. Heck, the green BOE items that are usable at level 77 are something like ilvl 272, whereas the highest ilvl in WotLK was 277/284. I heard of people who didn't replace BC epics until they started raiding in LK. It doesn't seem that way in Cata, you will be replacing stuff pretty fast for the most part.

I had full Triumph badge gear with a few Frost pieces and some i264 BoEs and replaced everything by 63. I think Deepholm was when I replaced the last piece. I went Vash'jir --> Deepholm --> Uldum --> Hyjal --> Twilight Highlands.

@OP, don't be surprised if you aren't feeling as godly at 85 as you are at 80. Those abilities that are stellar at 80 don't matter nearly as much when your health pool is 130k instead of 30-45k.

Problem with mutiple classes? I've never really had a problem 5 boxing multiple classes in heroics, besides the first time where i have to learn the mechanics of the encounter that is. I have used 2 different groups which i use to do 10 man raids with.

Paladin
Ele Shaman
Holy Priest
Warlock
Mage

Team 2
Druid Bear
Resto Shaman
Ele Shaman
2x Warlocks

I may have a problem with Wotlk roics as i haven't tried those yet, but my toons are currently only 73 with 115 epics from kara.
