Levelling a PVP group as PVP

I've always boxed PVE, the times i've tried PVP i made no attempt to adapt my macros or setup - and I did quite poorly!

I would like to have a proper attempt at PVP, perhaps even level a new set of chars and play them in BG's through the levels.

Has anyone done this or recommend a setup for doing this?

I just have 1 pala and 4 x shaman @ lvl70 currently.

[Shodokan]

4x dk + paladin/priest/shaman
4x ret + dk
4-5x shaman
4x shaman + insert caster or healer (seen boomkin, hpally, resto druid)
Multi class melee team (ex: warrior, enhance shaman, dk x 2/dk + feral/dk+ret, healer)
Boomkins (though they are not the greatest now)
Multiple feral druids

There are too many options really, but for just getting into pvp i'd suggest sticking with your shaman or rolling dk/rets or healer/dks
