Haven't been able to play too much lately, but last night instead of running heroics I decided to do Ony 10 man and Sarth 3 Drakes up. Was very quick and pretty fun. You get the black drake mount 100% drop with 3 drakes up and a chance at the Ony mount. Anyway, just something fun to do when you get tired of heroics.

Any other 10 mans worth running or doing for loot/unique rewards?

Just curious, did you five man it, or 10 man it? I'm assuming you 5 manned it given you listed your toons in your sig. If so, I might just have to try that myself.

What a fantastic idea! I've been so bored of the usual dungeons, and heroics are still kicking my ass lol.
I'm guessing almost any wrath 10 man would be quite easy with our hp pools now, so there has to be more.

Who has more of these?

Rep + Me were 2 x 5 boxing the 10mans while waiting for cata... I haven't gone back with just 5, but I'm assuming you could 5 man them considering the health pools.

Wonder if you can 5 box LK ?

I'm not sure about the LK, might be worth a shot though. But the more I think of it, given our HP it should be doable. I mean we was easily taking out 10 mans in BC with our wrath gear.

Ha, nice. I've been doing this as well since I have gotten bored of heroics already.

My PvE team is pally tank + 4 shamans. Pally tank has 153K health and shamans have 110K. Each shaman can do 10K+ DPS.

I took me several attempts and had to use a Volcanic Potion to boost DPS, but Sarth +3D went down. I still end up wiping due to the spawns and the other drakes owning my face, but I got the achievement and mount!

In trade yesterday, quite a few pug 10 Lich King raids were complaining that he's still quite hard.
But most of the 10-man stuff should be doable for 5-man 85's.

Sarth 3D is doable with 5. You might lose some guys, but the whole thing only takes 10 to 15 minutes. Pretty easy way to get some achievements and a nice mount.

Ony was np. She went down pretty quick. I am amazed at how fast we can take down the old 10 mans now lol. It's a lot of fun.

If you can bring 7,8,9 or 10 guys do it for the achievement. I can get 10 accounts loaded on this comp and it runs ok. I had 7 or 8 with me yesterday to burn down Sarth quicker.

Or, grab another boxer and go for it. It's a nice change from dancing around the heroics and trying to get the new bosses down.

Do you guys use any kind of strat for Sarth 3D or can you just brute force it now?

Friday after cata launch we went icc, as we were missing 1 achievement for the glory of the icecrown raider meta, in order to get our drakes. I went on my 80 elemental shaman (10 man hc geared) with 9 other players that were 85. Capable players that cleared 11/12 on hardmode before. We didn't kill LK (normal) that night after several tries. Due to the increased health pools and the increased mana costs, our healers (2) were running OOM cause of infest, something that never used to be a problem. Every 85 in 333+ gear got outdps'd by my shaman by a few k dps. Was quite funny to hear my guildies on vent who thought they could kill LK hc easy now with their new gear. Of course now that everyone has sorted out his gear, it shouldn't be a big issue, def not with a proper setup.

Go do Yogg-0 with people in 359 gear that don't have a clue what they are doing, and it will be wipe after wipe.
