I've taken this expansion alot differently than I thought I would.

I've got my guys to 85, done a few normals and got geared enoguh to get into heroics. I've got a decent healing set and tanking set on my Pally (my main) and I've started raiding with my Guild.

I'll jump at the chance to do a heroic with my guild rather than box it. I'm finding at the moment that when I have time to play that there is just so much to get done I dont get aroudn to boxing much.

I try and do my Tol Barad dailies to max out the rep but I've missed heaps of days because it takes me about an hour and a half just to do all the dailies on both islands.

I've thought about stopping boxing a number of times in the last month - the main thing stopping me is I just paid for Cata on all accounts and I have 6 month subs on all accounts. Plus I really like having professions on all my Shamans.

Just really struggling to see a point of doing it anymore sometimes, I know if I push thru the gear / rep grind I'll enjoy mastering hte heroics but the expansion design feels so copy paste. Here are your reps, grind them. Here are your dailies grind them to get shoulder enchant and trinkets. Here are your heroics grind them to be able to raid.

I'm enjoying raiding just find EVERYTHIGN else so mundane and dull.

I dropped from 5 boxxing to 2 boxxing mid-WOTLK (after a 6 month wow break), find it more fun. I dual box all the dailies, zone quests, etc so I only have to rep up once. I single box heroics (twice a day basically), I run a dk/mage so its insta-Q as tank which is nice. Having fun with wow that way, plus I raid with a guild. Still, after a month of cata getting kinda bored and looking at Rift in the betas.

imo 5 boxing PVE is kinda dead for most people, sure you can wait 6 months until you overgear everything but that seems the equivalent of using cheat codes in a game, whats the point. LFD really killed it for me, before that it was sort of hard getting groups together for heroic dungeons so 5 boxing made a lot of sense, and for the holiday events it was nice soloing stuff so you could give nice drops to "your main". LFD makes finding a group a breeze, and they changed the holiday stuff so everything is bop.

It'll be interesting to see how PVP goes, rated BGs seem kinda lackluster/dead compared to arenas still, but if Blizzard tweaks the rewards to heavily favor rated BGs I think you'll see arenas also slowly die off. No clue if multiboxers have a easier/worse time in rated BGs.
