    That's my thought as well. You get pretty close to revered with them by the time you have enough emblems to buy anything useful anyway. Now if the commendations provided a bit of honor to go with the rep, this change would be something to get excited about.

    All CC are going to 8 secs. Except blind atm, no idea if they will change that.

    Crowd Control duration reduction
    Polymorph and many other CC abilities are being reduced to 8-second durations as well. I showed you the latest shaman changes coming in the next round of patch notes. It's important to note though that the next draft of the 4.0.6 patch notes to be posted are double the size of the notes currently on the home page of our website. There are many new notes for virtually every class yet to be posted.




    Shaman (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)
    • Chain Heal’s effectiveness has been increased by approximately 10%.
    • Hex now has a PvP duration of 8 seconds.
    • Purge now dispels a single effect instead of two.
    • Tremor Totem has been redesigned. The totem is now usable under Fear, Charm, or Sleep effects, and pulses much more rapidly, but lasts 6 seconds and has a 1-minute cooldown.


    Elemental Combat
    • Earthquake damage has been increased by approximately 10%.


    Enhancement
    • Flametongue Weapon damage now scales from attack power instead of spell power (for Enhancement shaman only).
    • Purge no longer has its mana cost reduced by Mental Quickness.


    Restoration
    • Cleansing Waters no longer fires its heal effect twice when a shaman removes a Magic and a Curse debuff with a single cast.
    • Deep Healing (Mastery) has been increased to 3% per point, up from 2.5%.
    • Greater Healing Wave mana cost has been increased by 10%; healing done has been increased by 20%.
    • Mana Tide Totem has been redesigned. The totem no longer multiplies the Spirit of those affected by it. It instead gives a flat amount of Spirit equal to 400% of the casting shaman’s Spirit, exclusive to short-term Spirit buffs affecting the shaman when the totem is dropped.

    Personally, I like the tremor change. Its basically a fear trinket on a 1 min cd.

    Right-

    Now that I think about it, this really hurts priest and basically nullifys their fear. While this greatly increases locks fear power. They might have to take a look at the fear break dmg threshold and lower it,

    Finally, a reason to keep the shaman in my team~.

    Without bloodlust, there were really no reasons to use shaman at all until this.

    Heres the thing though, everybody is losing BL. So there is no real loss for anyone except elemental. I would forget all the time to BL after I popped wolves and I dont think it made a huge difference. I was either going to win with out it or lose even if I used it.

    I can understand the concern for PVE shaman, who may have fights where they would drop the totem pre-emptively to deal with random fears. But I think that's exactly the sort of design Blizzard is trying to get away from.

    However, I see shaman complaining about this for PVP, and it mystifies me. It's a group-wide PVP trinket on a 60 second cool-down, and they worry that the totem only has 5 HP and can be destroyed? Erm, dude... by the time they destroy it now, it has already done its job. If there is something I'm missing, please fill me in, but I'm not seeing the downside here.

    1 tremor totem is not that good currently. I think it pulses every 5 seconds. and you may run out of the totem range before it ticks. So having one is almost like having none.

    This change is a buff to single tremor for sure. Maybe considered as nerf to 4 tremors where you stack them to get 1 second pulse.
