Default PiP Suppoert ETA? / Hotkey BringToFront support?

Hey boss, I've just dropped a dime on my system and upgraded the video card, ram, etc... unfortunately it looks like to 5 box and continue using Vista I need to upgrade to an Intel cpu/mainboard... The other option is to roll back to XP, however since my monitors aren't the same size (1680x1050 & 1280x1024) the dual view option in XP isn't an option...

Ideally I'd like the PiP option with hotkeys to switch between them, but even if I just ran 5 copies on 1 box with F1-F5 set to bring each window to the front would be quite sufficient... do you have any ETA on either of these features? Would a cash or beer bribe escalate either? .

Edit: Really the Hotkey bring to front would be more than fine for what I need... I could just run all 5 copies at 1680x1050 and use F1-F5 to bring the one I needed focus'd into focus...

    hey zanthor,

i have an old college buddy in town this weekend for the superbowl... so.. err... coding level drops as beer level increases

but hey... beer bribes? i'm all for it!

seriously, pip is about 50% there... main issue left is the flipping and resolutions. after that, it's saving the settings and done. most likely an eta of next week is probably 85% accurate

I've never had a problem with different sized monitors on XP running together. At one point I had one XP machine with 3 monitors (19" standard @ 1152x864, 20" standard @ 1280x1024, 27" wide @ 1920x1200) and had no problems.

XP has a known issue with performance on dual view (more than 1 monitor not spanned by a video driver) where the 2nd/3rd/xth monitors take a huge framerate hit over the main display.

    Since you can't Span a 1280x1024 monitor with a 1680x1050 monitor...
