Potion of treasure finding

Any thoughts on this, and how it works? Would it be worth it to stack 5 toons in a group with it?

Used one on my tank when questing with my group of five, only found one thing from a mob in a hour of running around questing and killing lots of monsters... haven't tried a second time.

I found 2 treasure boxes... Pretty much worthless if you ask me.

With the price of cloth, and people reporting getting 5-20 boxes an hour with this, i'd think it pays itself off, but only worth keeping on the main if that is who does the looting.

Well I farmed for 2 hours using 2 of these. I swear by this now potion now. I must have had 40 stacks of cloth and tons of volatiles by the time I finished. There is a great spot to use this in deepholm where those verlok dudes just keep spawning. You kill 10 and 10 pop in 20 seconds afterwards. If you're really greedy you can pull the entire plank area which has even more.
I usually got 1 chest every pull, and sometimes those chests have 10+ cloth in them. and always a few gold in them.

I have no idea what would happen if all your slaves had one up, I just did my main.

Maybe I'll try it on all 5 of my guys at the same time and see what happens.

A mate mentioned these potions tonight whilst I was questing in Deepholm, so I made one and quaffed it to see how it did.

I took 1 potion on the tank in my mixed team and then did 60m AOE-grind on the groups around the catapult quest line in Deepholm. Group was on FFA looting and I opened the bodies with my tank.

Net result was 12 Tiny Treasure Chests in 60m giving me:

• 54g12s
• 90 cloth
• 12 volatile life
• 18 volatile water
• 2 volatile air
• 12 volatile earth
• 1 volatile fire
• 3 pyrite ore
• 6 elementium ore

Definitely worth it if you've going to be grinding a large number of mobs!
