Heroics and Boxing

So Since I don't box anymore I was wondering what heroic progress has been made. Are all instances cleared? If not, which ones are either impossible or just too hard for current gear levels?

They all sucks hard. I gave a shot at heroic BRC and was doable, but its just not fun. Its not a fun process to try and "gear" your characters with heroics.

Shamans are doing good in PVP though.

We've cleared heroic:
Halls of Origination
Blackrock Mountain
The Vortex Pinnacle
Shadowfang Keep

That's it that I know of. Things are getting easier with more gear, so I suspect that they'll be a new one or two heroic clears in a week or so.

It's been really helpful that people have posted strats of various bosses and even instances.

It's doable... the 4 kicksome listed are easy to medium difficulty.
Farm up your epic items from rep/crafting and the rest will get easier. I'm working on some of the harder ones for the guild achieves. Hoping to post something new soon.

I just got into the gear score to queue in heroics. BRD first boss made me a new arse hole pretty quick. I run a cleave team, and to be honest every fight so far just beats the hell out of meele teams. It's a shame. I'd roll some boomkins but i simply hate the boomkin team. It's just boring.

Most of my guidlies, who run meele dps quit and rolled something else. They couldnt stand it.

The normal cata dungeons aren't gearing you up properly for heroics. IMO, there is something missing between norm and heroic. So all you can really do is farm rep.

Have you tried Heroic SFK yet? If not, try giving that place a shot. My team is Fury Warrior+Enhance Shaman+Unholy DK+Blood DK+Holy Paladin with mostly the ilvl 339 crafted pvp gear and I found it very doable. Ideally I think you want to bring a class with that can decurse for the last boss, I am sure it's possible to simply heal through the damage but at my current gear level I'm pretty sure I would have gone OOM keeping up (With decurse, the last boss was very easy).

Early into an Xpac melee are going to be getting pwned by instances, but dominate in the arena. It's how it always goes.

When I'm not 5 boxing heroics and I make a group for heroics I avoid melee at all costs lol. So far Good Tank + Paladin Healer (usually me) + 3 Ranged DPS = Profit.
