    Default Possible KJ Transfer

    Hey all,

I am considering xferring my Priest and DK's to KJ. I'd be leaving behind my support group - all my tradeskills are on my Paladin/Shaman. It would be a server move and faction change so I'd want to make sure the $$ are worth it.
As Horde on Cael we have 15-20m BG Queues so I am I was hoping someone could answer a few questions.

What are the queue times like for BG's on KJ?
Is it difficult to do Tol Barad (as in get 5 characters in) due to being quite high pop?
What is the playtimes of the Guild? I am in Australia, Vic which is +10GMT if that helps.
Is there any special requirements for joining LoB - I dont see a sticky and search is a bit vague as it gets everyones sigs.

    Cheers,

    Slats

For Alliance there the BG q's are about a minute.
It's sometimes hard to get into Tol Barad. You won't always make it.
I'm on the east cost. We actually have a few AUS people in the guild as well. Right now there are about 20 toons logged in.
I'm sure if you're a boxer you can get in, no problem.
We are guild level 5, we'll be 6 tomorrow.

I like everyone in the guild, there's no drama at all, but keep in mind, everyone boxes, so people are often too pre-occupied to chat etc... so don't expect a really social talkative place.

Everyone is great though. Very helpful, and really awesome people.

Again, it's not gonna be like 50 people logged in all the time, there might only be 10 or sometimes less, but it gets crowded at least.

you have to remember that BG queues are region-wide now, so everyone in the US plays with everyone else, only rated BGs and Arenas are in battlegroups.

We soul LOVE to have you, we already have most of the healer+DK teams, me, void and Mosg2 who both recently came to join LoB.

Please come and enhance our group with your experience with priest, we have recently been hotly debating the priest vs pally as a healer debate and would love some firsthand knowledge from you.

    See you soon!

One thing to keep in mind is time you play. If you play after 4pm server time you are looking at least an hour queue to even log into the server. After 6pm it's over 2 or more hours. Mornings are fine and really late is okay.

    That's my biggest fear.

I have a 2 teams on Blackrock, and the queues are horrendous.

Since my play times are sporadic, and living in AUS it's very difficult to plan my playing. And waiting two hours is sometimes not possible.

Still interested in coming here myself.

Let me know if you decide to do it and I will contact a guy at blizzard that helped me move everyone. Gave me a free faction change for each of the 30+ toons I moved.

Queues are really only from Cata release, and will die out in no time.

Well its 8:30AM Christmas Day (Saturday) here as of the time of writing this post.

Logging into the server and adding San Francisco to my phone gives me the same time - 1:30PM Friday.

Making 1:30PM AEST Saturday 7:30PM Friday which would be prime time. This means 6:30PM AEST into Australian "Prime Time" would be the early hours of the same day for the US people.

This is of course with DLS in effect. So I imagine we would see alot of players on weekends etc but miss most of them unless they are extreme night owls during the week.

For me this server move would def only be my Priest + DK Team with the potential for my Druid to come across as well as he is a 450 Herbalism/Mining with Mastery Flying to get me started with professions on the new server.

As for my experiences with Priest - sadly they are outdated and lacking - I played a Prot Pally and 4x Shadow Priests in TBC and this is one of the left over priests. I'm still only levelling at the moment so I probably wont move for a couple of weeks while I finish levelling in PvE safety at least through WOTLK.

It sounds like there is an Australian community to play with though as well as any US people on nightshift or nightowls.

Hope that is food for thought Vociferate

I'll be starting a team there tonight, and begin the fun process of leveling.

When I start work and have steady income, I'll be transferring my groups over because I do enjoy being with other boxer's.

Since one of my goals is to do 10 mans with another 5 boxer, this is probably the place to start.
