Rated Battlegrounds, first games.

Hey guys,

Yesterday i did some rated battlegrounds 15vs15 with my guild <Cyber Athletes> on Bladefist EU. It went really good.

Queues were between 4 and 6 minutes. We have done 2x AB, 3x EotS, 2x Strand of the Ancients, and won 5-2.

The games we had problems with were Stand of the Ancients. Its hard to nuke down 3-4 tanks before they reach yellow or purple gate, but we did slowed them 24/7, that was the main priority. I just couldn't keep up with the tanks because the opponents were also trying to slow us down with traps/snares/ring of frost.

EotS is by far my favourite BG to play. The tactics were that i stay on Fel Reaver Ruins, and push Mage Tower and keep pressure there. One time i even managed to cap it by just fighting near the flag. Also i helped at Blood Elf tower if that was needed, or clear the middle with 4x Thunderstorm. I've also noticed that we didn't faced many other elemental shamans/boomkins that could knockback.

In AB i was responsible for Lumber Mill, and was pretty easy to cap it, and keep it. If there were any problems at farm or i had to push at Stables my sidekick healer just stood at LM and told me on Skype when he was attacked. Its really great to stand at Lumber Mills because you have a clear view of whats going on at BS, Stables and Farm. You can even see opponents from GM attack Farm from behind, and notify your guys at farm.

I will do more rated BG's tonight and maybe fraps it.

That's good to hear, I was really afraid no one was going to play rated BGs aside from the super-pvp guilds since you had to get 10 or 15 people together.
