ISBoxer CPU throttling information

Not sure if i should post this here or in the software forums, but ill give it a try here.

I have noticed lower performance on my pc lately, and when 5 boxing i sometimes have lag even outside city's. This is new and i have scanned my pc for viruses etc, and cleaned up my hd. When i started ISBoxer toolkit to setup my new mixed team today, it poped a message box saying:

"ISBoxer has determined that your CPU is not running full speed. This will contribute to slow performance while multiboxing.
Current speed: 1176 MHz
Maximum speed: 2801 MHz.
This is usually solved through the power control panel in windows"

I found this guide but that didnt help me

...i assume this is why i have lower performace, but not sure. I have a

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 2.80 GHz 2.80 GHz processor
12 GB ram, and 64 bit win7. Not sure if more information is needed.

My pc is only 1 year old so should be ok.

Any ideas?

i wouldn't worry too much about that message.
It just means the CPU is running slower, when there is no application demanding more cpu-power. You often see this message in ISBoxer when wow isn't running yet.

I've got the same CPU and its never really maxing out, so that should be sufficient to run 5x wow.

You might want to tune down some video-settings in wow. Try them one at a time and see if behaviour changes. For me for example, turning down shadows from ultra to good improved fps from 30 to 60.

If you really want to disable throttling, you'll probably have to disable it in BIOS.

Thanks alot for your answers guys =) ....seems like lowering shadows what whats needed to avoid lower fps, and now i understand why my cpu drops and rises so fast, i was afraid something was wrong hehe =)
