    I have been doing mostly Truegold and Air once or twice. My new plan is to just do Life transmutes for 3 days to get all the mats for Truegold and then do a Truegold set.

    ya thats a good idea as well. Its just getting sooo expensive to make these truegolds and they are just not selling like I was hoping they would.

    Haven't logged in, most of this week.
    But immediately prior to that, the cost of the mats on the AH was more than what Truegold was going for.
    IE, with procs on the transmute it is profitable, but without it is not.

    I've got one team at 525 alchemy.
    And have mostly been selling transmutes with them.
    While 300g a transmute isn't that great, I've managed to acquire 3 bars on my 10 transmutes (2 days).
    And those are totally free.

    Have also purchased the mats to get two additional teams to 485.
    Which will be 150 Volatile Life = 150+ Volatile Air, per day.

    Chances are, converting Life into Air and then doing cheap Truegold transmutes will be the most profit.
    But with the price disparity between Life and Air, that's quite a bit more profit per day than WotLK gem transmutes were.

    So the plan is, get all alchemists to at least 485 for the Volatile Life transmute.
    And go from there.

    The cooldown on all transmutes is (reset at midnight).
    So it varies, according to when you did it.

    My thing is the Truegold market is so cut throat. Everytime I go to the restroom @ work im taking my phone and have to undercut someone eles by 1 silver its a bit insane. For the time being I am going to transmute the lifes. More classes seem to it and while you dont get the awesome paycheck from making a free truegold or in some cases 5 I feel like the net gain will be more from the Xmutes from life to whatever else. Bad thing for me is I cant just say ok everyone is doing air because I quit boxing this Xpac but all elementals on my sever are at least double what life is.

    Airs are selling for 40g each on my server. It's cheaper for me to just transmute life->air on my 4 alcs. That's a solid 2k+ gold a day for almost no work. And I usually proc, so it could be 2k - 4k a day pure profit.

    Was using 3 alchemists to convert the volatile life to the various other volatile's each day and using my fourth alchemist to do the truegold. I spend an hour or two early in the morning farming herbs (every few days) so don't end up paying for the volatile life. I just buy the Pyrium Bar's off the AH since they don't cost much and I don't have the professions to make them. No doubt i'll get sick of farming herbs but I do it at 6am so usually only one other person gathering herbs. Spent 2 hours and gathered 5k worth of herbs if i would have sold them on the AH.

    I've since leveled one of my current alchemists to max so he can do a truegold each day too but thinking I need more alchemeists now. What level do toons need to be to be able to level alchemy high enough for the Living elements transmute?

    At the moment, Air transmutes are better for me.

    Life = 6g each.
    Air = 60g each.
    x12 mark up.
    Discounting procs, turn 84g into 840g.

    Truegold = 1200g each.
    AH purchasing the mats = 1400g
    Transmuting your own air = 900g for the mats.

    But then transmutation spec procs muddle things up a bit.
    750g profit, with some procs gets a few extra Volatile Air (+5 Airs, would be 300g profit extra).
    But break even to 300g profit on Truegold, can be a massive gain with procs (I've had +5 Truegold already, which was +7500g).
