Nope.

I'm PvEr for the soul and blood. Besides my tiny gnome army would be brutally slaughtered if I entered any arenas whatsoever. With ISBoxer the focused burst dps is somewhat awesome, but no heals so I'd be quite vulnerable there.

Though if there was an addon to have opponents focused by one of each mages, then it wouldn't be problem to PoM+sheep them all at the start and then just burst them down one by one. However even if there were such addons I bet those wouldn't work in arenas anyway?

I used to do 2v2 with my old friend, we both are mages, and always used Invisibility at the start, sneaked behind the enemy and AP+PoM+Pyroblast+Fire Blast the same target for instant 2v1, it was fun until the shared cooldowns changed a little.

Some hordes died mounted since they didn't have time to do a thing This happened in vanilla though.

A simple macro can do exactly that. Simply change arena1 through arena5 for each mage and sheep away:

/cast Presence of Mind
/cast [@arena1,nodead,exists] Polymorph

ya it's actually even easier in arenas than in pve to coordinate your CC since you can specifically target arena opponents by number like zappy did in the previous post. that will get you thinking

i took 5 mages into an arena season 7, horribly undergeared. managed to get a full team polymorph but still ended up losing badly and got discouraged, but it was enough for the team to make a character and message me with a WTF how did you polymorph us all. i'd at least give them a shot in this early stage of arena where people don't outgear you by so much.

The ring of frost makes me lol. That's crazy how much CC you have. You really should take it into arenas just to see what kind of crazy strats you can pull out.
