Default Is Expertise used in PvP

I cannot find a legitimate answer to this anywhere, so even though it's not boxer specific, does expertise apply in PvP at all? I've never done endgame content with melee toons before, always casters, so I've never had to worry about it.

I think the new pvp set has expertise on the shoulder piece if I am not mistaken. So take that, should be enough. No need to look for or reforge it. For paladin it is kinda straight forward as mastery is near useless (the proc we can't manage well). str => a little hit => crit => haste. For shamans and other classes, mastery might be more useful.

Each point of expertise(not rating) reduces the chance for your attack to be dodged, blocked, or parried by 0.25% in both PvE and PvP. Keep in mind that parry and block only work if the defender is facing the attacker, while dodge works regardless of facing. So to some degree, the average solo player is going to have a different opinion of the value of Expertise in both PVE and PVP compared to a multi-boxer, they do not share the same positioning limitations we have.

Since Boxers are usually behind their opponent, and melee don't really have the ability to stand up to us anyway, I don't expect to stack any expertise.

As far as mastery is concerned, the proc for ret paladins is amazing, and I use it all the time. It provides twice the holy power per point than does haste. To manage your holy power, use power auras. Set a large translucent graphic to appear on each paladins screen when they have 3 holy power, or hand of light. You could also set a graphic to appear on the main screen for when each paladin has hand of light, but not holy power.

The proc accounts for a lot of the healing that the team has going for it.
