Welcome to the left coast. I moved to San Diego from Boston a year and a half ago. The change of pace is nice as well as the "scenery" I miss the Northeast but don't regret the move.

Oh and snow and skiing/boarding is only about 2 hrs away. So if you start jonesing for the cold, it's easy to get to.
