    1. I really like the quest watcher functionality, but I'd like to toggle Zones instead of all or one at a time. That way I can just enable all quests in this zone and as I pick up new quests they are automatically added to the quest watch.

    2. Let me just say that I love the new trade feature - mad props for that!
    5 Boxing (85):
    Paladin, 2xMage, Warlock, Priest
    Paldius, Magria, Magrib, Walina, Priset
    Currently:
    5 Boxing (85):
    Paladin, 3xWarlock, Shaman
    Ghallo, Warlisia, Warlisib, Warlisic, Pleo!

    Two things come to mind.

    1) I'm not really sure how the heck you'd watch for this, but there are two cases where slaves can "miss" things while questing: A) not picking up a quest drop (inventory full, mis-click, whatever) when all 4 others did get it from mob/object X, and B) not accepting/finishing a quest when the other 4 did (missing reagent, NPC not selected, in-combat, etc.). Admittedly, these are somewhat rare events but they cause notable headaches when you have to go fly back over, find that corpse/drop and/or farm it all over again. Regarding mechanics, I can see this being something that watches for looting of a quest item or starting/completing a quest across a majority of the team over a given time period, say 30 seconds or something. Or even have the "window" adjustable to allow for different folks' speed in multibox looting. Note that I am NOT suggesting watching for quest items that have to be farmed one at a time: only items that the entire team can loot off of one object or one corpse.

    2) A toon picking up an item that begins a quest and nobody else does. This would probably be a simple warning to the master that self or a slave picked up said item. Nothing fancy here.

Really, though, I've been using 0.7d (I think?) and haven't had any notable issues aside from some flight path ID issues in Vash'jir's underwater flight paths. There might be a problem with Jamba accepting the next quest in a chain after completing one of those in-the-field quests (that popup the completion dialog so you don't have to go back to the NPC) but I just broadcast-clicked the buttons and forgot about it. I can watch for that if you'd like.

I mentioned these in other threads but thought I'd add them now:

a slash command would make it very easy to change team configs that I'm guessing is easy to code:

    /jamba-team removeall

Other things would be nice would be an icon on the jamba team display box next to each toon to signify if they are mounted and/or if they are in combat.

Could you shade the whole screen red on a dead toon? I used to have an addon that did this, but I'm unable to find one now.

    hi jafula

if you are looking for challenges, i might have one.

i'm not really sure if it's possible, but i would guess so - although i'd predict massive use of the communications channel.
the idea is this: the possibility to track minerals/herbs on the master, if one of the slaves has the ability to track them.

i don't know if i have to explain this further, but i saw addons like routes or before that cartographer-routes add icons to the minimap. so i guess one could write an addon that displays tracking info on the master. i'm not that sure if an addon could also request info from the minimap. but if it could - this would be a tremendous addition to jamba. (at least for some of us who don't like to have the tank of every team pick up herbalism and mining, just to not miss that stuff all the time while running around it).

as i am not familiar with the lua api i really have no idea, what the effort to write this would be - and how much this would strain the communications channel. i'd guess coordinates and mineral/herb-type would have to be transferred. rather frequently i'd say.

of course, if this was possible, it probably could get expanded to track everything any char in the team can track (hunters anyone?) on the master. but then again - i think the communications would explode. at least if i'm not underestimating the load that channel can take.

I browsed the existing tickets and couldn't find this one, although I'm sure it's been requested before.

I want Jamba to stop spamming me when team members are offline. Currently as soon as I do something as trivial as alt-tab I'm greeted with two error messages telling me Jamba was unable to find my offline alt.

I'm aware of the fact that I can /jamba-team add|remove <alt>, but I don't want to have to remove and re-add my alt every time.

Maybe poll the guild or friends list for when team members are online or not?

    @Harry Palms
this is already doable. in jamba configuration under "communication" (i think - it's one of the tabs in the bottom group of settings) there is a checkbox "assume all team members are online at all times" (not the exact wording, i'm not at home now). uncheck this and it stops spamming you.

ah... seems Lyonheart answered this a bit better than me in another thread already: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showpost....24&postcount=2

I think there is already an addon existingthat warns the group when someone picks up a quest-starting item, so this should be very doable.

This has already been found in the past to be impossible due to addons being unable to actually know when the yellow dots appear on the map (you can track where they are supposed to spawn easily, but not actually see when there are nodes nearby), as well as addons being unable to do anything with such yellow dots.
So no, you cannot have an addon telling you on another character when a different character sees something on tracking.

The most common solution people use for this is to have an addon make the minimap really large on alts screens when they are not being focused, or some similar setup.

Atm the only way to see those is to disable hiding the blizzard tracker (as in show it), but Jafula is working on a fix for it right now.
