Level 82 and only 55k HP still

Hi Guys,
I see Rogues which more HP than I do at the same level, which is quite embarassing considering I am a tank. Have any of you spotted any really nice ways to raise your HP? I'm about to go raid the AH of anything and then enchant all my gear.

I think I must be the only person who is struggling to raise HP>

Well maybe it's because quest rewards mostly cover dps specs ? I've got the same issue with my pally healer, very few upgrades to grab so far, she's 83 and still wearing mostly icc gear. I think I've only changed a ring and trinket, all other healing plate items I could get from quests were just badly itemized imo. Have you got the chance to upgrade a lot of tank gear yet ?

In terms of tank to tank upgrades no. A lot of it was minor upgrades to DPS spec (for stamina and strength).

And then not knowing what the parry and doge bonus'es actually translates to in terms of mitigation, I often took the gear for the additional HP and extra 500 armour thinking that this was better than having dodge and parry bonuses.

Then this is probably why you're seeing rogues with more hp than your tank if they could upgrade most of their gear while doing quests (and some give blue upgrades as well).

Btw, I've been in my first instance yesterday, Throne of the Tides, and now I remember that the tank had a bit less than 58khp buffed (I didn't check the rogue & dps warrior though), no issue whatsoever to get the achievement, neither anyone said anything about this so I guess there was nothing wrong with that.

If you're really worried with the pool of HP of your tank, then maybe you can check what you can craft (provided one of your toon is a blacksmith). We used to be able to make decent green & blue tanking gear right at the beginning of BC and WOLT so it should still be the case now ?

Blue gear at the AH is horribly expensive on my server, most of them are listed at 1k+ gold. Not sure anyone will ever buy at such a price if you consider this gear will last only a few levels at most and there's no need to hurry for realm firsts anymore.

My Level 82 DK tank has 58.9K hp.

Don't feel bad. The rogue was probably decked out in full pvp gear before the patch.
