Default pets not responding to macros or buttons

    Hi all,

Just ran into a problem last night with a new warlock team. For some reason, my imp will not respond to any sort of attack commands on my part. If I target a mob and click the attack button, nothing happens. If I click on my /petattack macro button, nothing happens. If I cast a dot on a mob and it ticks for damage, then the pet will attack. clicking on any of the other pet bar buttons (follow, go to this area) does nothing.

manually typing in the pet stay and pet follow commands does nothing.

I am currently using macaroon and had made a bar and checked it as a pet bar. Not sure if that might be causing my problem?

Anyways, if anyone can help, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time!

For some strange reason Blizzard disabled this part of the game, and implemented it as a level 10 skill. You need to hit level 10 and then get something like demonic command. This will unlock your abilities for pets.

Yeah, its a companion / guardian until the level 10 pets are completed.

"New characters will start with a pet determined by their race at level 1! The pet will act as a guardian - it will follow the player around and attack his or her target until level 10, when Hunter will learn Control Pet and Tame Beast."

Huh...I somehow missed the "guardian" part of the patch notes. Thanks for pointing that out, y'all.
