    Default New and seeking advice

I'm rather new to this whole multiboxing concept. I did a little of it back in Diablo 2. I've been running 3 accounts since Saturday and managed to get 3 hunters up to 19 but the going was very slow and I didn't know anyone on the server so I decided to reroll on a server with my main(4th account) and attempt to boost new toons. I have access to an epic geared PVP warrior/PVE epic tank gear and scrub geared warlock(both 70 of course). The account also has a 55 shaman.

Still no question here on my part I noticed. What I'm asking is what would you suggest for leveling and as a final setup. I was thinking of boosting 3 shamans up to about 55 with the warrior/lock then setting up a quad-group with the 55 shaman. But is that such a good idea? My focus will be a little 5v5 arena and mostly solo'ing(+1 other player for tanking if I don't roll a class to fill that role)instances.

I am currently using Autohotkey and constantly evolving my techniques and would appreciate any advanced tips also. Thanks for your time.

IMHO, the warlock will mop up SM with SoC. Aim for 700 +dmg and 9k hp and you'll have absolutely no problems. Theres tons of threads on how to "boost" level.. which would definitely be the fastest route (instance grinding with a 70).

Ellay (sp? God I hope I'm right and dont look like a douche) demonstrated *his* success with 5xELE shaman. However, the consensus is that people quad-box and bring in a healer friend to make everything go much more smooth and let you focus on burst damage.

If you plan on doing instances with your group, you will -definitely- need a pure tank and a pure healer. Pally and Priest or Druid is my .02.
The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving. It saves on introductions and goodbyes.

    All solid advice, thank you.

I have easily cleared SM many times over with my lock for other people's alts so that should be viable. Just a question of getting my team up to 10 to start VC then its easy sailing. Just those first 10 levels that kill me :S UGH.

Should have mentioned; I will level the 3 shamans elemental(resto maybe to keep the lock alive during big pulls?) and boost them to 55 then I'll switch to 4 shamans and grind elites(finally a use for Tyr's hand?!).

Sounds like youre heading in the right direction.. I would definitely make them all resto while boosting.. no down time.

Another handy-dandy (exploit?) I learned today actually is this....

Group your nubs together. Spec your lock Demonology (you actually don't have to, but you'll be doing more damage with PET).
Have your nubs 'tap' the mob.. aka do 1pt of damage. Then kill the mob with your lock's PET ONLY who is not in the party.
Full xp split between the partied nublets.

I'd imagine with all the kill-quests available at lower levels that this would be easy to get them to ten.

    Thanks again!

I think the biggest issue I'm going to have is overcoming my OCD and gearing up my toons. My OCD is going to force me to gear them up identically or not at all(my 3 hunters had a single upgrade from 1-19 because I found the same item X 3). And frankly, I just can't be bothered to coordinate the tapping technique :P Just level them up via grinding until 10 then boost. And ya, demonology is fantastic for instances. Send in the FG and SoC spam the whole darn place...good times!
