This is a near-optimal configuration for any team, and I applaud you for getting with the program!

levelling slowly through Dun Morogh and now Loch Modan.

somehow the levelling seems a bit slower that what i remember.. Then again, last time i had some RAF and both xp heirlooms. This time, no RAF, and only 1 heirloom (shoulders)

I've gone through Dun Morogh and did all the quests I could see, and still had to farm a couple dozen mobs in Loch Modan to get access to the first quests in Telsamar (level 10)
And now i had to grind some more mobs to get access to the quests at the guard tower north of loch modan (level 12).
Dunno, seem slower to me. Even though i did kill the 60 kobolds needed for 5x12 ears >.<
Lots of collection quests so far in the early gnome/dwarf areas. I wonder if I should perhaps go towards Elwynn/Westfall instead.

The new Gnomeragan quests were enjoyable, even though there weren't many of them. I've noobed my way through the boss fight with Thermaplugg.. died a few times , then decided to stay far away and it worked fine lol.

I assume the slow levelling is due to being in a group of 5. It's the first time I actually level all 5 together. (did 3 before, or just the one gu yboosted with my 80s)
Kill xp is very low (~35xp per kill, 10k needed per level)

    Notes so far:
    - Got to love finding silver elite mobs. they give ~15x more xp than normal mobs (found 3 so far, just got the darkiron dude outside Telsamar and he gave me ~600 xp, instead of the 40xp for that level mobs)
    - Flying 5 toons to IF at peak hour definitely doesn't work for me lol. Took me the best part of an hour to turn that quest in (Dark Iron ambassador) and zoom out of the city.
    - the IF airport is interesting. They finally did something of that place (which i visitied by wall climbing with my tauren shaman about 5 years ago, on my search for Old Ironforge.)
    - Loch Modan has been very affected by the cataclysm, the dam got hurt a bit, nice zone to visit/revisit (although there isnt much there)
    - Penance + 2Arcane Barrage, followed by 2xfireblast and the felguard will kill everything. My tank doesn't have time to reach the mobs :-)
    - Gathering xp is nice. Taunto is the only one doing all the gathering (mining+herb) and he gets ~77xp per node (~= 2 kills) he has taken half a level on the other toons just with this

Took one randomly created toon from Stormwind to Booty Bay to try and pass some gold from Horde to my Alliance team. I can't remember how many deaths on the way lol.
Since the cataclysm alot of the roads have been broken and now go through animal areas. A level 2 with 70hp can't run far lol

Will try to get to 15 tonight and do a random Instance. Better set up my repeater regions on that team

    Deadmines!

I really enjoyed the new instance. Same layout, but different mobs (more goblins, and a worgen :-) and a few quests to run through.
Don't know if it's buggy or what, but i had to go back to the entrance everytime (running, or using teleporters) to turn in the quest and get the follow up. From the text it seemed they would follow us, but perhaps it's bugged or something. The quest giver did come to us at the end though (see screenshot)
In the end, i just used the LFD feature to teleport out and back in, as it takes you to the entrance of the instance. I could also sell my grays that way as i was next to a vendor.

got a non-raf level out of it, but it took me a while ~2h as i needed to set up my tanking macro, my dps macros and the ISBoxer repeater region for healing.
Worked out well in the end, even though Grid gave me some hassles towards the end (frames got cascaded for some reason, and got outside the repeater region.

At level 15 the instance was quite easy. The bosses move alot but in the end they remain tank & spank.
    No more Mr Smite
    /sad landlubber

dps wise, the lock was a short bit ahead the twin mages with 28dps and 25dps respectively, but the king was my warrior at 35dps.

Had half an hour so decided to do Ragefire Chasm..
Son i was very disappoint to see that the quests at the entrance... weren't there!
I guess it makes sense that they are horde only, but what a pity :-)

Forgot to take a screenshot, but the instance itself was a cake walk. didn't stop at all, just chain-pulled to the bosses.
Wailing Caverns next.. somehow i think that's going to be a long one.
