at 80, 5x Boomkin was faceroll much more so than 5 shaman. So you're not totally out of the easy mode element

If you're gonna faceroll boomkins, you gotta go ally as you can pop starfall, and immediately shadowmeld, and your position will never be revealed. I must say though - for world pvp, the boomkins are awesome as your opponent knows your probably still there, but very difficult to find.

If you're going Boomkin (or really any stealth team), it might be an idea for your dedicated healer to be a druid instead of a pally.
Or perhaps to have a Druid for some compositions, but a Pally for others.

The druid can stealth, or if a Night Elf they can Shadowmeld too.
Which will go well with your stealthing team, be it Boomkin, Ferals, or Rogues.

I got to level 11 and couldn't control myself but to try and warsong gulch, haha. My paladin didn't even have a heal yet, and my shaman are obviously noobs. I saw so many problems. I have trouble remembering to turn off the mouse/keyboard repeater. I turn it on to accept "release spirit" and I forget to turn it off, so I end up making all toons run the same path, and end up not near each other by the time I realize it.

And of course another big problem is when melee start running around me in circles, my main screen I can get to attack obviously, but since the others are just following me, lots of time they face the wrong way and stuff like that, it gets very hard to kill someone in you face.

I'm sure there is a lot I'm missing, and need to learn. Round 2 tonight of learning/tweaking. We're doing 4 sham+1paladin right now, fyi.

You can also release spirit with a macro. Allthough I think you need a second one to get rid of the "release spirit popup"

4 Warlocks will be more difficult to gear since you cannot run them all through an instance together since you need someone to queue as tank, and someone to queue as healer.

Very true for leveling indeed. But once 80.. I just boosted my locks and questing now since 62.

Dumb question, but when running multiple boomkins, how do you manage dpsing between Solar and Lunar effects. I only ran two at a time so I could have had a dedicated macro to flip my macros on my 2nd druid (which I didn't bother doing while lvling), but I know there are people who run 3 boomkins in a group. Just wondering.

I don't box them, but i'd asume that all characters gain the same amount of lunar or solar power. So their eclipses happen at the same time. You could even add an additional cast to make sure everyone gets the eclipse.

The castsequence is easy to macro for Boomkin now.
It will take them all the way to Lunar then all the way to Solar (or the opposite direction, if you prefer).
