    Default ISBoxer ate my Keyclone!

    Hi Forum,

I've been using Keyclone for the better part of a year now, and I just last night downloaded and registered a trial of Is Boxer to see what all the fuss was about. After being amazed by the instant tabbing I thought I'd go with that, til I ran into the horrible keymap thing. Alright, I'll just use both programs. Mouse clicks and instant switching from Isboxer and the easy setup of key broadcasting from Keyclone,BUT! After running the windowed-setup I had from Isboxer, keyclone isn't registering the windows propperly. They don't auto show in the list. No worries, I would just click "add" and click the window. THere we go, they show up on the list as "Is1 ...." etc..but, it isnt rechiveing or sending keystrokes? That lil' counter in the box that shows when keys are being pressed aren't moving either. It's like it's not actually getting the imput and even less sending anything back. How do I fix this, I got way too confused by using the white/black list from Isboxer since I couldnt remove keys from the list of what keys to send, that annoyed me.

Edit: Any quick answer to how I change the hotkey for switching between windows? At the current time it's using [alt gr]+[number]

    Thank you in advance.

If you really want to use Keyclone in conjunction with IS/ISBoxer, you will need to run Keyclone as Administrator.

For the Hotkey, which defaults to Ctrl+Alt+# if not configured (AltGr = Ctrl+Alt), select your Character Set in the top pane and then select each Slot number in the bottom left pane. The Hotkey option will be the top option in the rigt pane

If you want Keyclone like behavior.

Take the Repeater mapped key (in the Control Keymap).
And copy it, so you have two of it.
Then edit the first, so it only applies to the keyboard repeating.
And the second, so it only applies to the mouse repeating.
Change the hotkey on one of them, so you can toggle each independently.

Then play, with Keyboard Repeater enabled all the time.
And you can disable that, via the Pause function (same as Keyclone).
No need for KC at all.

You can still Whitelist/Blacklist, if you want to.

I'd recommend taking your Keyclone hotkeys, which are sent to all windows...
And gradually adding them as mapped keys.

The mapped key functionality is extremely adaptable and powerful.
You can have slaves move, independent of the main; and if you change who the main is, the other toons are still the only ones that move, not the new main.

Once you've got all your KC keybinds added as mapped keys.
Play with Keyboard/Mouse repeater off, and Keymaps on, as your default method of play.
That gets you a gradual migration to IS Boxer entirely.

    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.
