If it's a restart it'll be a real Cataclysm xD... Everyone logged out huge spam on authentication servers just after it, brutal queues

i believe the queues are more of a "limit the number of players on the realm" feature, rather than "the login server is overloaded" thing.

basically, there is a queue when alot of people are playing on that realm, even if they logged in ages ago.
After a reboot there will be 0 player on the realm, so there should be no logging queues/ The login might be slower than usual however, due to the stress you mentioned, but you won't have to wait for some dude to log out to be able to log in :-)
