Thread: Resetting Macro

  1. #1

    Default Resetting Macro

I use macro's on my tank master which I play.

At times I cast Word of Glory which I weave into my macro. However, if I do this just before I was about to fire off my Shield of Righteousness, then I can't cast the shield because there is no holy points, and I can't reset my macro because my reset condition, is reset=combat.

How can I set this up so that if I cast Word of Glory then I reset the macro?
I was thinking about maybe adding Word of Glory to my main macro under a modifier:shift, but how can I reset?

You can have multiple reset conditions in a macro. Such as reset=combat/3 or reset=target/alt/2

that's the reason i dont use WoG on my pally team at all or use the Hand of Light pros. I am afraid the macro will get stuck. You can make the macro longer by adding HotR after using WoG.

I don't use mine in tanking macros, but I've seen this happen a few times with my DK/Ret paly team. After I use word of glory to heal, I'll spam my normal DPS keys for a few seconds, then hit another button which attempts a crusader strike on all the palys. If any of the macro's was stuck on Templar's Verdict waiting for holy power, then the crusader strike will generate the HP and allow it to move forward.

set the reset to a second? then you can make your first spell crusader strike, depending on your rotation, which shouldn't hurt overall dps
