I certainly assume they are taking it away. It would be pretty ridiculous if they didn't. Like the Armani (?) War Bear, I don't think Blizz will allow next expansion players to waltz in and grab a rare mount that took a lot of organization before.Originally Posted by Kalros
Guaranteed drops like this have followed this trend, while very low % drop mounts they have typically kept in (ZG tiger/raptor, baron mount, first Kara boss mount, etc). Although I've farmed 3 of the Blue Proto-Drakes from Utgarde Pinnacle, I've not been overly concerned with running it five times per day because I assume it will still be available in Cata.
I assume the Red Proto Drake from Glory of the Hero won't be available, either.
If anyone has heard any different, let us know.
Heck, if the Sarth 3D drakes aren't removed, I'll be planning on getting 10 of my guys to level 85 and soloing the 25-man version (purple > black).
