Cata - Shadowfang Keep (SFK) - Baron Ashbury

Has anybody been able to kill this new boss in Shadowfang Keep since the patch? Every time he castsasphyxiate my tank ends up dying and then he resets. I am using 5x druids (one bear, three moonkin, one resto) and they are level 21 if it matters. After watching video of some people attempting it on the beta, it seems that they are left with triple digit hp on heroic, but not once were they killed by asphyxiate. Although if he ends up doing the healing phase on non-heroic I might not be able to kill him anyways as I don't have skull bash or any interrupts at this level.

On a side note, the dungeons have all been revamped and are pretty nice. WotLK quality maps in game, No trash pulls over 3 elites (so far) and bosses are more like bosses in that they hit harder and have bigger health pools. First boss in RFC had 9k hp. It looks like all of the dungeon quest givers are now right inside the instance portal so no more hunting across continents to pick up quests. All around the instances feel very WotLK like.

There is some trick but I forgot what it exactly was. Check out Totalbiscuit/Totalhalibuts video on Youtube.

Pretty positive you have to make sure you interrupt his spells to be a success.

From what I can tell asphyxiate is an instant cast. Looking at my log it seems like it is definitely killing me though, not melee white damage or anything. My guess is that it is a bug because my entire party drops out of combat as soon as the tank dies.

I noticed yesterday when I ran it, If I had the toons nearby, It seemed the damage was spread across all of them, allowing them to all live.

YMMV though.
