I just regemmed to resilience and my DK's have 3750 apiece now. I'll let you know how arenas go.

My previous problem, where the toons would not swap targets properly was due to using the default Interact with Target mapped key, found under General.

Interact with Target is set up as follows:
    Step 1
    - Do Click to Move On in Control Key Map > all other
    - Do FTL Assist Me in General Key Map > self
Do Test IWT in General Key Map > all

    Step 2
Do Click to Move Off in Control Key Map > all other

    Test IWT is:
    - Do FTL Assist Me in General Key Map > self
    - End > all
(End, in WoW, is Interact with Target)

I used to have a Hotkey to trigger Interact with Target. Removing that Hotkey and using Test IWT directly, worked (as long as I have click to move turned on all toons).

    New question:

How does everyone deal with the toons circling their target (and running off when it's dead)? When something is dead, I tend to hit /follow to get them back in line - but what about in arena where the main is dead? Mokoi, in one of his videos, is filming and actively moving the camera from the dead holy pally. This means he didn't switch to one of the DKs to hit /follow when they inevitably run off in random directions.

    Last:

Is everyone still using the frost cast sequence Mosg2 described in the video?

    Thanks again!!

Edit: Remanz, thanks for the advice on IWT. I'm just going to have to be careful and fast. Once I have the IWT working in my cast sequence, then hit 85, I'll be looking forward to trying out different cast sequences.

Edit: I've slammed my head against the desk with this so much. Can I somehow post my ISBoxer file up somewhere safe? I took my email and stuff out - I just can't get IWT to work correctly with my cast sequences. (and I hate littering this awesome thread with my qq).

Leaving the ISBoxer question to Ualaa, he is the expert in that.

As for the running off after IWT spam, IWT has a long range, much longer than follow. After your first target dies, simply select another target from your paladin's screen. THey will run after him. Do it quickly and hopefully the DKS won't run off too far. DKs will gather back to the 2nd target.

IWT should be built in as part of your attack spam. That way your DKs won't run off too far. The issue comes when they cut short corners, or staying at the edge of a bridge. Have to be fast on Death Grip or your slaves will be stuck or fall off. Also I find it handy to have a key setup for "back up" to stop moving. and put this key to somewhere it can be easily accessed to avoid having to run your slaves off.

For the castsequence, I think we are all kind of experimenting with different setups/attack rotations etc. At least I am still playing around with specs and spells. Keep in mind howling blast is getting nerfed. So things would be a bit different in 4.0.6

Start a new thread, probably in the software forum.
Give it the IS Boxer tag.

Go to pastebin.com or a similar site.
In the file menu, in the toolkit copy your profile to clip board.
Be sure to check the option to omit your account name.
    Then paste it on pastebin.
And include the link to that, in the post here.

Or you could post on the forums on www.isboxer.com
Lax checks the forums on his site more often then these, I would assume.

Folks at WoW forums seem to agree that Obliterate is now a better choice than HB + NS in frost PvP. Thoughts?

Maybe for individual DKs, but for frost build the way we do it currently, HB/NS is still better for a couple of reasons IMO.

The main reason is that HB is a ranged instant. If you are an Aussie player like me with a 400ms ping playing a melee character yourself, you will find you are out of melee range a lot on a moving PvP target. When you are using IWT to control that character, the problem is only increased, thus the advantage of any ranged damage that can be donw whilst moving.

NS while potentially less damage than oblit-HB has the advantage of stacking the antihealing/cast slowing debuff on its target. This can be extremely useful when focus firing casters esp. healers.

Nice, now go dwarf for stoneform with the patch 10% reduction to all dmg- 2 min cd. With insane defensive cds, lichborne heals and increased ds healing. Dont see how anyone could kill ya.

speaking of defensive cooldowns, can someone tell me how they handle it? I tried making a cast sequence that summons the ghoul and sacrifices him, then casts a couple deathstrikes and pops the 20% damage reduction skill. The problem is that i'm usually fairly stunlocked or silenced and can't seem to get much off.
Do you guys go into blood form when focused? Anyone that's got any defensive macros sure would be helpful.

    thanks
