DiT Back for Cataclysm

Yea, was gonna ask what this meant for the original KJ guild, Legion of Boom. If it's a case of one is the multiboxing ally guild and the other is the horde rawr progression guild, or some version in between, I think the sooner that people know whats going on, the sooner we will know which three forums to be reading and for what reasons (read that last line with the game Eve in mind).

Yeah, no idea why that traitor Svpernova is posting in this forum, trying to recruit Alliance to Horde [mwhahaha].

I'm going to assume that LoB is getting stronger. Once Cataclysm hits Kick, Dave, McWrathy, rofl, Blast3r, Eenie,
Saav [had to have misspelled that], and everyone else [sorry if I forgot you at the moment] will just be doing
some nice world PvP. I want in on that action, because this is action I cannot get on Frostmane. I also do not
want to re-level or pay money to transfer a team [let alone all my teams] to Frostmane.

Everything LoB can and will do is predicated on having enough people on at the same time. The past few months have not really given us much of a reason to do anything, since none of it is new and we're all pretty bored. That said, my aim for Cata is to do the following regularly with LoB (reader's digest version here - longer individual posts to come):

1. Rated BG teams - we have enough experienced and eager PVPers here to make a huge impact and have a great time doing it.
2. Solo 10 man raids - does this need an explanation?
3. Boxing 25 man raids - we have enough interest and ingenuity to box through progression raid encounters.

Here's the rub - we need enough people online at the same time to do any of these. This will be the biggest challenge for us. However, I am confident we will overcome it. We have a number of active people, we're just active at different times Scheduling and commitment will be essential for us.

Svper and Vecter - should DiT fall apart, you are welcome back anytime to participate in the fun.
Fenril - hit us up when you are ready to jump [heroic leap that is] in.

I wish you luck. Its fun when people pay attention, but gets insanely fustrating when you've got 5 people, 25 toons, and your raid comp is this:

4 tanks
20 dps
1 healer

....and nobody repairs, doesn't bring reagents, doesn't enchant their gear, wants portals, needs gems, doesn't know the encounters........ and trying to multibox movement intensive fights they've never even done solo. (oh, and hasn't tuned thier DPS macros and / or made raid encounter specific macros)

I was able to lead groups through OS25+0 and 2 wings of Naxx 25. (and I was solo healing on my Paladin)

I have a poopton of toons on KJ, both horde and alliance, mostly shamans :P if you need some dps or a healer, holler! I would rather heal DiT though.

Turns out with the insane amount of guilds recruiting, unless you have a solid reputation as a guild in Wrath, or unless you have a solid base to level your guild, you're really SOL on KJ. Was pretty disheartening but oh well. Currently DiT is Vecter and I doing our own thing. We both went to a raid guild and tired to make that happen but we're both not wanting to commit to a 3-4 day schedule. At one point I had even canceled both accounts but yesterday afternoon Blizzard's grip on my soul twitched and I resubbed so I could at least level alts and some other things. This truly is a terrible expansion and end game means very little to me.

I haven't been too excited about it either. I still haven't gotten to a position where I can raid from when I stopped with DiT.. but I don't really feel like I'm missing all that much. Sure, I slightly miss the idea of getting revenge on Nefarian, and the Sinestra fight sounds fun.. but bleh.

I think Cataclysm will be the perfect medicine to break my addiction.. at least to where i don't spend all day in front of this thing. I certainly hope everything works out for you two. Don't let these guys fool you, it's all about the green skins now-a-days.

Yea just doing our own thing. Raiding would have been fun but it went from 3 days, to 2 days, to 3 days then 4 days. No thanks just cant commit that time. 2 days would be great, maybe we will snag others who just want to do stuff on their own and occasionally hit a raid to experience the content. Until then we are going to outfit our chars with TK mounts. hahah

Wow, I'm really sorry you guys aren't having fun after the move to hordeville and solo boxing. I was fortunate enough to down Argoloth three times last week and am looking to do it four times this week with other boxers from the guild (I have 4 mixed teams at 85 so far). A lot of the other raid bosses look pretty complex, but I'm sure we'll be giving them a try soon as well (I don't think I'll be playing 5+ toons on those, of course).

Between a bit of crafting, some exalted rep, and lots of BoT and BWD epic trash farming drops, it is amazingly easy to get quite a bit of of ilvl 359 gear on all my teams. Anyway, you guys know there is always room for you if you feel like coming back to LoB.

I really do feel for you guys. Sucks when something you've poured this much of your free time into isn't giving you they fun it should be. Whatever you end up doing, I hope you find your fun juju soon.
