Thread: My new team

    Default My new team

    Okay,

I don't know if it has to do with the post count or not, but I'm unable to post in the general forum, so I'll post it here.

Yesterday my new team was born.

5 Druids (all roles in 1 group and my current main is a Druid so I know the class very well).

    Temporus
    Cenario
    Sunlit
    Etto
    Cosmopola

As my RAF has been gone for ages, I decided to make 5 trials via RAF (to get my team to 20 asap) so I can get mounts soon that'l quicken the further leveling.

    Cheers J

    Small update,

after reading post after post trying to put the gigantic quantity of info on these forums into my head I've been able to do the following:
    - get the WOWs working with keyclone
    - initialize the Jamba configuration
those things I already did while boxing in the past

    The big ones for me:

looting on a slave without changing to that window !!! (IWT and click to move for the win ;-) )

    Cheers J

PS: once I can post in the general forums I'll update my progress in there

Congrats on making those first steps! I'm also looking forward to rolling with a 5 druid setup. You are much farther than I am in the scheme of things. Had a financial setback from a car repair bill, so now I'm waiting on funds to accumulate again so I can buy the last couple pieces for my dream pc.
There is hours and hours of reading useful posts on here. Once in a while when you need a break from the long grind or looking for a hint to a problem you've found, its quite helpful to read new posts.
In short, welcome to the community!

    Druids are fun.

You can level 5x Feral or 5x Boomkin, whichever is more fun.
Once you get flight form, you can do collections without landing, making tons of those very easy/fast.
And aquatic form makes a multitude of underwater quests, a ton easier; I'd (minor) glyph Aquatic Form.

    Good luck with it.

That'd have to be with the IWT thingy (interact with target).

    1 select target on main
    2 slaves assist main
3 press key for slaves to interact with target

I think it would be something like this.

For melee teams, I have CTM (Click to Move, an option in Interface Options - Mouse Options) enabled for all members of the team.

You target with the main, and then alternate between sending your IWT keybind (or pressing that key) and pressing the DPS move you'd like to do.

If you spam IWT, your toons can have erratic running about, so it is advisable to not spam it so much, especially against a stationary/immobile target. In pvp, you pretty much have to spam, but then you get the circling about the target which is a beneficial side effect.

If the target dies, while you're spamming this... frequently one or more toons will run off in the direction they are facing. The fix is to either /Follow quickly (Jamba Strobe works great here), or IWT on a new target. The range of IWT is roughly 3x further than maximum /Follow range.

You also occasionally get the camera to spin about in slow but never ending circles. The fix for this, is to right click on the ground anywhere, which will set your direction and have the camera align behind you.

I'm using IS Boxer, so have two sets of IWT commands.

My default spam DPS keys (1-4) alternate between IWT and whatever key I'm pushing.
But the IWT is only sent to characters who I have placed in a melee group (software side, Action Target Group).

And then I have a toggle which can enable the Melee IWT or disable it.
When it is enabled, the melee toons spam IWT as part of me spamming 1-4.
When it is disabled, the melee toons cannot IWT since that command is set to off.

Then there is another IWT, which is manually pushed.
And is sent to the entire team.
Which is useful for quest npcs, innkeepers, flight masters or the like.
