Current Daly quests just got whacked

The XP portion of the dalies just got removed. No doubt they did this so people couldn't fill up their quest log with completed quest and turn them in just after Cat switches on to get a head start on XP.

But this also means that if you were doing the dalies for gold each day, your gold from doing so just got cut in half.

I got a lot of use out of Ualaa's gold route in ICC. Looking forward to a new one for lvl 85 =)

Still getting approximately 20k experience per quest, from the Grizzly Hills dailies.
Ran three teams for these today.

Once a team hits 73rd, since I only want 75th by Dec 6th on my secondary teams, all I do is run these dailies.



My daily route, was heavily based off of the one posted by Chilkoot.
I changed the order a little, omitted the Stormpeak dailies, and put locations in.
But the guide was basically his.

Hmm I just checked a couple of the ICC dalies. Also noticed the "new" quests for doing the 4-new invasion-related instance bosses were cut in half too. Sounds like they just did it for lvl 77+ quests.

Word on the general forums is it's because your now no longer max level, but you can't gain XP yet. A lot of people on the forums are saying they did this at the end of TBC, however I was doing SSO dailies the day before Wrath launched and the amount never changed.

I won't be purchasing the exp for a while (too many end of year tax bills), so if I can't collect normal gold amounts for dailies/randoms then piss on it, I'll cancel till I upgrade. There is plenty to watch on Netflix while I save up $$.

Will you allow players to fill their quest log with say, 25 dailies, and then turn them in right after Midnight on December 7th to get a quick boost towards 85? This is how it worked in the beta, but some players are confused on whether it will work on Live. Thanks!
Regarding 25 daily quests to turn in when the expansion goes live, this is something players have been able to do for the last 2 expansions and we aren't talking about changing it now.

Then it must be that the level cap has been set to 85 already.
But we're not able to gain experience beyond 80th yet.

So the extra gold, from being at the level cap is gone.
And we would be gaining some experience from these quests again, assuming we were able to accrue exp.
But since we're not... we are only getting the gold portion at this time.

If the quest log is filled, and we're bound in Stormwind/Ogrimmar.
We turn in a bunch of dailies, get some experience... and then hearth.
And do the Cataclysm leveling process.

Hmm damn .. now I feel obligated to start doing these again. Save me from leveling up a DK team during the 2 weeks the shattering is "almost" here.

So for any account that is not upgraded, will they continue to get the higher gold amount or will it drop once they complete the daily for the first time in Cataclysm?
