disconnects - is it router, isp, or blizzard?

I've been getting lots of lag and disconnects too. I did some research and tons of folks are on the same boat.

It appears bli change its netcode to help on bandwidth cost. I think how it works is their now p2p . Since the patch I have notice 2 new ports that blizzards using. Both loading equal amount this is where the latency is coming from I think.

There is a lot of pist of people from this, so perhaps they made fix it soon.

Got some links describing these new ports that everyone is having problems with?

Blizzard has indeed made it so the p2p downloading goes on in the background regardless of if you want it to or not. Me and my friend just finished building a router based on pfsense because we were getting flaky results with the QoS on our DD-WRT linksys router.

I should have worded it differently, but i normally watch my connections and ports and blizzard since the patch is using more then usual. And with lag, we all notice a slight decrease over a solo account user...

The lag is odd, it comes and goes. Go visit bliz tech support forums, tons of stuff I have seen on there. I'm no networking expert, but you get an idea of what is going on....
