    Default First Mixed Team

I am just creating my first mixed team. Starting from 60 after RAF grants.

    1 DK Tank
    1 Resto Shaman
    1 Balance Druid
    1 Mage (Undecided)
    1 Shadow Priest.

I have a question about my macros. My previous team was all Shamans, so I didn't have a proc button, but after reading lots of threads I'm not quite sure how I am suposed to work this.

For example, how do I create a proc macro for my mage?
I think that I have the normal rotation in one macro, then I have /cast Combustion and /cast Pyroblast in another macro.

Would this be correct? Do I have to use a proc macro? On my Shamans, I just have /cast Lava Burst and it casts when the LvB is available. Obviously this wouldn't work on Pyro since it is a normal 3.5 second cast?

The Mercurio thread for Cataclysm DPS has a two stage macro set up.
    Quite ingenious.

Have your first macro things that cannot lock up.
And your second macro procs, which can sometimes fire off.

    And then alternate between them.

Sure, I'm simplifying it a bit.
    But that's the basic idea.
Just go to that thread (it is a sticky) and take a look at the examples.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

But how would you use it when only one of your toons has procced?

I had a read of all of the stickies actually. Couldn't quite wrap my head around utilising procs in with my rotations.

no need to do anything once it is setup, the procs will fire automatically.

Read the Mercurio thread several times and It makes more sense now.
