    Default Jamba and Smartmount

Hi sorry for being a noob . I have tried searching in Google and in this forum for an answer but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the Jamba macro system.

Basically all I want to do is to have my master and slave mount up at the same time (preferably using Smartmount to choose flying or ground mount). I tried to figure out the macro system but I can't seem to make it activate even a /say hello macro for me.

I tried reading the http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=24694 thread for the Jamba. Do I need to create a variable for such a simple macro?

Why use Jamba for this? Just use a keybind or the macro setup as described by the mod.

    Macro

The recomended way is to use a key binding or the macro.

The macro can be created using the Help screen, or create one by yourself with this contents:

    /click [button:3] SmartMount_Button MiddleButton; [button:2] SmartMount_Button RightButton ; SmartMount_Button LeftButton

I prefer to use Jamba so that my wife can easily take over when she is around.

Is there an alternative solution to Jamba for multi mounting?

    1. Account sharing is a violation of the game rules and thus the site rules here.

    2. I still fail to see why you need one mod to do the work of another. You don't even need a mod to mount, you can do it simply with an ingame macro.

    Code:
/cast [nomounted, flyable] Green Riding Nether Ray
    /cast [nomounted] Swift Brewfest Ram
    /dismount
If you can't even get a say macro to work, it sounds like you don't even have a key broadcaster. Jamba is an addon for assisting mutliboxing, not a program for broadcasting.

    Hi Andytizer,

I strongly second what Khatorvar said. First of account sharing is against the very base terms that you agreed to upon registering your World of Warcraft account, and therefor it's against this forums policy as well. None the less, if you are looking for an easy way to mount on severel characters and have it take into account what mount you can use, then the macro syntax that Khatovar posted will do exactly that. I use the same syntax with a few modifications due to class, mounts, and preferences.

    Code:
/use [nomounted, nocombat, flyable] [Your flying mounts name]
/use [nomounted, nocombat, noflyable] [your land mounts name]
    /use [nomounted] Ghost Wolf

Shoot, all I do is drag a land mount out and a Flyer out on a spare action bar.

Mine are keybound to V and ShiftV

    Hiya,

Sorry for breaking your rules and the misunderstanding, I didn't realize that setting up my wife's account would be considered 'account sharing'.

Anyway I think I misunderstood the purpose of the community here, I was looking for an in-game way to broadcast a command for a character to mount on another character. This was possible on another AddOn called KeepFollowing, which broke in 4.0.1 and I thought that Jamba's macro system would be able to do this for me instead.

What I will do is have a look at key broadcasting which will be an easy way to sort out my issue.

To clarify Blizzards Terms of Use on account sharing -
You may not share your Account or password with anyone, except that if you are a parent or guardian, you may permit one (1) minor child to use the Account instead of you (in which case you may not use that Account at the same time). (Section 1A of the ToU)

guys, relax, he's just setting his wife's macro.
It would be the same if she was sitting in front of the computer, and him fixing her macro from over her shoulder.

As for the topic, that macro listed by Khatovar is all you need really. Jamba will not make it easier or more efficient.

While addons like jamba are able to make a character /follow, they can not do protected functions like casting a spell or mounting (which is considered a spell).
