I was puzzled to why i was suffering these weird low framerates in WoW.
Yesterday I found out.
It was because of keyclone.
Up to now, I found that only way to fix my game was to delete my Config.wtf file.
Yesterday, I decided to Multibox a couple of instances, everything went smooth.
But I noticed that my Keyclone windows was max showing 30FPS, as if it was capped before it.
When I afterward started the game as normal, again it was capped to 30FPS in window mode, and I then
set it to Fullscreen-non-window mode, and it was still capped to 30FPS. And now i was not running keyclone.
Only reasonable explanation I can think of is that keyclone when you use it, caps the FPS to 30fps in the Config.wtf,
so that when you try to run the game again afterward, using the the same game-files, if you only have 1 installation, then it caps the game at 30fps constantly. Which is very very frustrating.
So...I would really like to know if there is a way to avoid Keyclone from modifying the config.wtf when it comes to this.
Or even better, if you user Keyclone, have it clone the config.wtf and use the clone file whenever you use keyclone, and not the main-game-config.wtf file.
It is really annoying having to re-set all the settings because deleting config.wtf is the only thing helping.![]()
