Mouse problem

hello,

first off all if something is not in the right context or time sry i´m from germany, i ´ve some problems with my mouse.

I use an Sidewinder X5 Mouse and running it on Win 7.
I also had problems with my G11 but these Problems are solved right now.

I Box via isBoxer 4 accounts.

The Problem now is, that i can´t use the additional mouse buttons. I no that i have to run everything as an admin.
I have done that with my G11 an it runs fine.

someone told me to run the mouse drivers as an Admin, but couldn´t find anything where i can
justify it.

Maybe some one could please explain it to me,

Go to control panel / mouse on mine there is a tab "setpoint settings" and when I click on that the pop up box that wants uac confirmation pops up.


Otherwise just try and shut off UAC go to control panel / user accounts and then you will see "change user account control setting". At least then you will know for sure if thats the problem.


Check the start up folder and if you load the mouse drivers during start up be sure to set the properties of that program to run as admin.
