    Default lotsa screens @ 2560x1600

So, I've been trying to setup my screens in such a way that I can take advantage of ISboxer's mouse broadcasting as well as using the game windows like I would while solo playing the toon (same setup, same addons, paged actionbars between boxed and non-boxed).

My previous setup involved a 30" main monitor (2560x1600) with 2x 22" monitors in a portrait setup (1050x1600) with 2 slaves on each 22". No problem with fps or performance otherwise, but with the different resolutions of the game windows, the mouse broadcasting was always weird.

The newer setup involved 2x 22" monitors in landscape on either side of the 30" (so 4x 22" + 1x 30"). Unfortunately it seems I don't have the capabilities of running all 5 windows at the resolution of the 30" - 2560x1600. The game windows are slow to respond - very fps laggy. All are on lowest graphics settings, but I still don't get more than 20 fps.
I'm looking at my Everest monitor atm and just idling in Dal I'm at 17% cpu usage and 54% ram usage

    pc specs:
    Core i7 940 @ 4GHz
    12 GB DDR3 GEIL @ 2GHzish
    GTX480 1.5GB running 30" and 1x 22"
    GTX280 1GB running 2x 22"
    9600GT 512MB running 1x 22"
    wow folder on 128GB SSD
system drive WD 1TB Black HDD

I'm still fairly new to ISboxer so it's entirely possible I just have some bad settings somewhere, does anyone have any thoughts on what I should check before just throwing money at new graphics cards?
Sorry for the wall of text

Use isboxer to split client rendering between gpus.

Do you use ISboxer to switch one of your slaves from the 22" to the 30" if your tank dies ever?

If you actually switch monitors often then keep the instant PiP switch active, if not then disable it and you should see a performance boost.

I run a single 30" with 4 slaves down the RHS of the screen. When I need to switch I have the instant PiP swap it to the active zone. As far as I understand this setup however it is like having 5 screens all running at 2560x1600. If you switch of the instant switch then they are rendered at their true sizes.

The other thing I found with the new patch is that all of my graphics settings were reset. Even just at the "good" level, with 5 accounts going, this was enough to drop me to 1-2fps after a few seconds. Once I reset things to low levels but with good viewing distance, I am back to normal 30-60fps performance.

I've tried with and without the split gpu rendering, unless I'm doing it wrong (http://isboxer.com/index.php/guides/...le-video-cards)

If I disable just 'Instant Swap' then the 'Desired Rendering Size' option becomes disabled, causing the game to go back to 1680x1050 de-syncing the mouse repeater.
And If I disable 'Swap Hot Char to main region', the 'Desired Rendering Size' becomes enabled, but the game windows still appear to be running at 1680x1050, again still with the de-synced mouse repeater.

    By de-synced I mean this:

On the slave screen on the right you can see the isboxer cursor, and where the black circle is on the main screen (left) was where my cursor is (stupid fraps not screenshotting the main cursor)

edit 1: oh, and graphics are set to lowest on all windows.
edit 2: Just tried the same res on just the 30" with the 4 slave windows across the bottom, not perfect, but a damn sight better than the separate screens

I've not played with multiple monitors, but seem to remember needing the same resolution on the larger monitor as the smaller monitor is running.

    Assuming I remember correctly...
If the 22" monitor is say 1680x1050, try setting the larger monitor to that resolution as well.
That way, position 480x944 will be the same relative position on each monitor.

downside to that is 1680x1050 looks absolutely terrible on a 30" monitor

Sounds like we need some Lax input or one of the ISboxer crew. If they're not around, you can always try the isboxer chat channel and someone should be able to help you out.

I'm having the same issue.. Set up the double VGA properly but the wow windows are "not syncronized" as confusedtx5 has explained..

    This is my setup..
Primary adapter --> Ati Radeon 4780 1GB connected to Monitor 1
Second adapter --> Ati Radeon 4780 1GB connected to Monitor 2

Primary video - Main Character Maestrale
    Secondary video - 4 alts

When i enable the mouse/keyboard repeater, i see the "fake" mouse cursor on the 4 alts, but when i move the mouse...
sorry for my english, i'm not able to explain... look at the picture below.. is better explaining
The GOLD trace is the mouse movement - repeated bad on the alts windows.

Both monitors are 22", same resolution 1680*1050, game profile of the 5 pg in game are the same for all pg on all screen/ wow istance (1680*1050)
    BUT
In the secondary monitor the single "alt" window looks like is not set properly to 1680*1050 but lowered to a kind of 800*600 ----- so the mouse movement on different resolution windows is different!

Hope there will be a solution that is NOT to set Main pg resolution to 800*600 or something... this will be really bad..

If your mouse is on the pixel located at 1608x890 on your main screen, that pixel point doesn't even exist on an 800x600 resolution.
If you want 1:1 mouse broadcasting, your in game resolutions must match.

This isn't exactly what the OP is talking about. While he does want perfect mouse broadcasting, he also wants to run at 2560x1600
on all screens all the time, so he doesn't have to switch up his UI/setup when going from solo to boxing. I honestly haven't tried it,
but I would not even think that you could force a monitor that doesn't support 2560x1600 to even run that resolution correctly. The
only solution I can foresee is to either:
    Code:
Purchase another 30" monitor that can handle 2560x1600[even though I'm sure that is a giant
load on the video cards to have that many games using that resolution]
    or
    Code:
Switch permanently to a 1920x1080 resolution and maybe run 5 of those on the main 30"
    screen
I'm sure option 2 is out because once you've played at 2560x1600 you don't want to play at a lower res.

    THAT is the problem...
the 2 monitors are both LG FLATRON W2242S @1680*1050
all the 5 wow has (in game) the SAME 1680*1050 resolution settings.
i have also try to flag in isboxer - windows layout - desired rendering size to 1680*1050 without any change..
the 4 pg on my monitor #2 has in game res 1680*1050 BUT in ISBOXER layout they are set to 840*525 for fitting 4 pg on just one monitor.

    The question is:
For properly mouse broadcasting with 2 monitors on 2 VGA shall i have to set 5 different monitors (one for pg) with the same 1680*1050 resolution?
so the mouse position is connected to the MONITOR resolution and NOT the warcraft resolution?

if the answer is YES in both cases, i will give up with the double video card and will find a brand new one that will allow me to run smooth 5 warcraft on 2 22" monitors as show in the picture before...
Then i will start ask myself why with a single VGA the mouse repeater was warking so efficent with the same
    1 main & 4 alts in 2 monitors....

edited for say Thanks for the help
after 2 weeks spent setting the isboxer / innerspace for recognize 2 video cards, that mouse repeater was the last problem i would expect to have...
