It shows up in your professions tab, but the button to link it (and therefore use it) was not there. It's a known issue Blizz knows about. Some people couldn't use mining/herbing either. My shammies/warlocks, who are maxxed in alchemy, can use it without problems.
That's the one everyone on my server is complaining about.
