Default On-site Setup/Support Request - Greater Palm Beach County

Hey everyone! I am a long time WoW player with a couple friends who have dual boxed. I always loved the idea, but never had the motivation to do it. Well, I haven't played in an extended period of time, and as we all know... the addiction to WoW doesn't die, and this time around I couldn't be more excited to multibox. I spent a lot of time over the last couple weeks learning about different kinds of multiboxing software, watching tutorials, and getting some hardware needs nailed down. Granted, I'm still a complete noob with regards multiboxing as I have not successfully done it yet, but I am completely motivated to get into it.

This thread is basically a request for an experienced multiboxer in the greater Palm Beach County area to provide to provide myself with WoW multiboxing on-site setup, hardware/software advice and setup, and troubleshooting as required. My intent would be to learn hands-on, while at the same time achieving ready-multiboxing in a much more efficient manner than I am able to do solo. We can discuss pay and specifics via phone if you are interested. Please send me a private message if you are interested.

    Thanks

I'm just going to throw this out there. If you don't know how to set up a system / maintain it / do a little scripting and macro writing, then multiboxing is probably not for you. Paying somebody to set it up is fine and dandy, but eventually something is going to break, and you're dead in the water until that somebody fixes it. Or, you can do what most people on these forums do, learn to set it up your self and be better for it in the long run.

    Not a flame, just sayin'.

P.S. The info here is free, and there's tons of "how to set up such and such" posts.

It's cool, and I hear ya. I am sure I could figure it out through trial and error, but I prefer to get it right the first time. If it breaks, and I have to learn to fix it either via trial and error on my own, or by paying this someone to teach me, at least it is still an optimal setup and not a broke setup that needs revised. It's a preference thing really.

Have you read Ualaa's isboxer guide? It SERIOUSLY couldn't be much easier...

Yeah, it is the best looking guide I found. This was the guide I had been trying to get familiar with prior to my decision to seek some help.

my advice is box with the same type of class, this makes things very easy, especially with isboxer's configuration wizard.

Just do some mages on a different server for giggles to get familiar with isboxer and innerspace

Burningforce, that's a good idea. I think I will do that. It looks like people are saying the easiest/best first multiboxing option is going to be 5 elemental shaman or 5 boomkin.

Hopefully nobody who has helped me by responding to my other threads takes this the wrong way - because I do appreciate all the help. I have my characters working, but I know the possibilities are so much more vast than I am utilizing, and that is the real intent of this thread. Thanks =)
