    Default Question on assist macro

I am 2 boxing a SHM and Mage, I am running random 5 mans as a healer - is there a easier way to set my mage to assist the maintank without having to edit the assist macro every run/new tank?

I am using Autokeys too two box them.

You can try using a /assist focus macros where the main tank would be the focus of your mage. So whenever you enter a new Instance, you would just set your Mage's focus as the Tank.

You can go with a Target or Focus based system.
In the case of the Target system, target the tank and have the Mage assist you, so it is now targeting the tank too.

    Then make your macros:
    /cast [Target=TargetTarget] Whatever
    Which can be abbreviated:
    /cast [@TargetTarget] Whatever

Alternatively, go with a Focus approach.
    Focus the tank.
    And:
    /cast [Target=FocusTarget] Whatever.
