I ditched Frost. Well, I Dual Specced him. I really want to have one of my mages be Frost but they will both be arcane for now. DPS went from 2100 to 3900 just by respeccing, lol. My shaman are about the same as they were pre 4.0.1 but my warlock went off the charts. Sweetness.

Now i'm wrestling with my assassination rogue macro, but I intend to only play him solo. I can't imagine boxing a with a rogue. I know some do it just fine but it's outside of what I want to do, I think.

    Thanks for sharing!

EDIT: Since these macros seem to be of help to a number of folks, I've added more instructions for how to set the "2 Step" up in ISBoxer here:

If you are using Lax's "FTL DPS Keys" keymap, you already have a "DPS 2" mapped key that simply sends the keypress of a "2" to all windows when you press "2".
Create another mapped key within "FTL DPS Keys" called "2 Step" that is also called when you press "2" but has two steps - the first sends "2" to all windows (exactly as above), while the second step sends ";" to all windows.

Now all you need to do is set up a new mapped key in your "Control" key map. I called mine "2 Step Toggle" and associated it with the "Insert" key. It will have two steps in it.
    Step one has 3 actions:
    1) A new mapped key state action (one of the options when you add a new step) that toggles the "DPS 2" mapped key within "FTL DPS Keys" to On
    2) A new mapped key state action that toggles the "2 Step" mapped key within "FTL DPS Keys" to Off
    3) A popup text with a message like "2 Step Turned OFF"
    Step two has 3 actions:
    1) A new mapped key state action that toggles the "DPS 2" mapped key within "FTL DPS Keys" to Off
    2) A new mapped key state action that toggles the "2 Step" mapped key within "FTL DPS Keys" to On
    3) A popup text with a message like "2 Step Turned ON"

That's it! Use "Insert" to turn your toggle on or off.

Attach the sequence macros to your "2" key in WoW and the proc macros to your ";" key in WoW. Done.
really interesting idea, thx a lot for share

i m trying to setup a viable method to manage multi-independent-targets, temporarly disabling ftl and your idea is good base

    /cheer
Copied your protadin macro for the time being and will probably do the same for firemage and destro lock. Lovely to just be a lazy ass and copy you

You still have not yet made use of the Soul Fire instant cast proc?

I noticed the firemage will use it with /cast pyroblast!, but /cast soul fire! won't work like that. You left it out because it's impossible to put in?

Using the 2 step and working like a charm, nice quick way to get my 5 man team up and running again.

    Thank you very much

These macros need a disclaimer. I was doing WG solo on my mage the other day and my damage was really bad. Then I realized I was ONLY running WoW, no ISBoxer, lol.

Disclaimer: Use of these macros without multiboxing software could result in the need to press TWO buttons *GASP*.

A couple of things i see remanz. You don't have ' setup in your macro, you have ; instead. So when your toggle is on you are spamming 2 and ; Also, the way this is setup, it looks at least, like it will spam both keys at once, not alternating. So 2 and ; will be spammed over and over. Sometimes your ; gets through and your procs fire off. I use this system and almost doubled my dps on 4 of my 6 dps toons and the other two showed slight improvement (both shaman).

All of that said, the macro that you put on your action bar in the 2 spot and the key that you have ; bound to will fire off. If you don't bind the right key to your proc marco it will never fire off.

I have used this method quite successfully, thank you to all who contributed to this, however I just have one question I would like clarified.

In the original instructions, you have stated that the hotkey will require two steps. I took this to mean that when I press my spam key, the first press sends a 2 to all windows (or whatever we have setup as our dps macro key) and the second press will send a ' (or whatever we have setup as our proc macro key) to all windows. So, if we were to do slow, deliberate key presses we would get alternating 2 ' 2 ' 2 '...

However, I just happened to notice in one of the submitted screen shots, it is setup as one step, sending both keys on one key press. Am I reading this correctly? Is the original intent of this method to send both keys on one key press, or alternating keys?

ya same i think its alternating keys after reading it a few times over and over i find out a 2step is two steps.

At least one of the screenshots in the OP is not setup correctly, from what I've found.
Also, make sure you include the FTL assist step when creating the 2 step macro (unless you have an /assist command in your macro already)
