Default A few more Keyclone questions

Ok I have 3 separate machines.
Account 1, Account 2, and Account 3 each with a license.
I run 1 WoW on each machine.
I run Keyclone on each after, and see 1 "World of Warcraft" on the Keyclone list each.

Question 1: If I want Account 3 to be my "main" which machine does the "Connect" using the IP/Port numbers?

Question 2: Do all 3 machines needs an Identical Key Map / Do Not Pass List?

Right now, I'm using the White List of the Do Not Pass list feature.
    I'm only sending F, G, H, and SPACE.

But eventually I want to pass more keys are I figure out which macro's I need.

Question 3: If I add new keys in the White List from the "main," do I need to add the same keys to each of the other accounts White List?

do yourself a favor and make a pinwheel like layout... where your 'other' machines connect into yoru main. look at the setup/general for the auto-connect.. enable it and set the iport to your main

another thing you could do is set the command to trigger upon startup. (set the # seconds to like 3 or so)

if you are only going to use the keyboard on your main, then you do not have to do much to the other keyclones... as the key routing will be controlled by the main one. if you are going to use the remote keyboards, then you would the lists to match.

i hope that helps. have a great weekend

    Default Pinwheel setup...

    I think I understand.

My main in Account 3 would have it's Port, 1900

Then on Account 1, I connect to Port 1900.
Then on Account 2, I connect to Port 1900.

    So:
    (Account 1: Port 1901) --> (Account 3: 1900) <-- (Account 2: 1901)

    Next Question.

Account 3 (tank) would have A White List pass keys "F G H and Space"

Suppose Tank 3 has established agro (just doing a spam of 1, 1, 1 button /castsequence.

I would like to control (dps Shadow Priest) Account 1's keyboard.

In Account 1, I want to White List pass keys "1 5 6 and \ (backslash)"

    While in control of Account 1, I would do a sequence of 1, 1, 1, and (5 or 6, or \)

(5 and 6 does Mindflay, and \ is a Taunt macro of the tank in Account 3.

Question: So, does Account 1's Key Pass White List go to both Account 2 and Account 3, from Account 1?

I was hoping that while in Account 1's keyboard, I can have my keys passed to Account 2.

    Account 2 will interpret:
    Key 5 = Heal Account 3
    Key 6 = Heal Account 1

I don't want to deal with going over Account 2's keyboard to heal. I want to heal remotely from either Account 1 (dps) or Account 3 (tank).

the short answer is yes.. you can pass the keys from your main to the clones... of course the trick is figuring out the keys of you don't want them both to heal at the same time. you could have the 'heal tank' key bound on both your healers and put it on round robin, so only 1 of them does it at a time. or you could use a keymap and have 2 different keys to press to come from either clone

point being... there are a few solutions.. carefully plan it out and see if it works for you in game
