Default 3 druids, 4 shamans... not good anymore?

    Okay, so I have 2 different teams. 3 druids (boomkin/resto) 4 shamans, ELE/resto

the druids - used to the resto druids could not die, i could heal everyone but with the lifebloom change i am finding it hard to do. I actually have to target cast, and with all the fears and stuns, one of them dies. When i go boomkin I do well, but i die fast and dont kill all that fast.

4 shamans, well . chain heal just does not heal that well anymore. Even with 4 of them, barely heals half my life. I do good dmg but 1 boomkin solarbeam = me dead lol. I even put 1 of the shamans to resto, and his chain heal sucks too. Seems like they want heals to be more direct, not just spammed like chain heals and resto druids.

    SO what should i do?

Currently i have 4 accounts - i have like 16 level 80's or more, so ill give the possible combos - which would work the best ( mainly for pvp, but i guess some for leveling when i hit 80-85)

    Account 1 -
Hunter - PRiest - Druid -Warrior - Shaman

Account 2 - Pally, Mage , Druid, Shaman, warlock, rogue (bad gear) and another shaman - enchncement

Account 3 - DRuid, shaman, mage (alliance )

Account 4 - Shaman, Pally, DK, Hunter, Rogue

Okay So I use ISBOXER but im not that advanced with it, have yet to find a good repeater region setup, will prob try and work on that. Is it easier to tank and dps, or heal and dps? Or just heal tank and dps? Whats the best combos? Im better with ranged.

Should i stay 4 shamans? Or do like 2 shaman, boomkin, disc priest , ?

What types of pvp are we talking about here. BG ?

well, nothing gonna be good if you have to heal yourself all the time. The heals are more like "I kill a bunch people, then recover my health quickly so I can go again" kinda the heal. Not "I stop dpsing and constantly healing myself while they beat on me" heal.

With 4 accounts, you need a dedicated healer follow you around. And best do 4 dps killing rather than one healer + 3 dps.

4 shamans still good. Use healing surge. Should get better with shamans before moving onto other muti class combos.

Run a priest team dotting peeps up, letting your showy apparitions kill them, and focus on keeping your dudes alive

well, ive always been able to heal myself and stay alive with my shamans, 4 chain heals = 100% life if no MS, then i just nuke 1 down, then heal myself up again, nuke another, and so on until they are all dead
now i can not do that, maybe dps is just higher, or maybe heals are lower... or both.

Priest heals seem to be the best aoe heals now, so i might just run him , and bring a mage in for cc

Also for BGS and soon rated BG's.

    1) We think Fury, Arms, Feral cat and Retribution dps is too low and we will be buffing them.

    2) We think mage dps is too high, especially Fire, and will be nerfing it.

    3) We think Shadow priest dps is too high, but that's largely a result of Shadow Word: Death spam, which is tough on healers. We'll be fixing that.

    4) We think Destro warlock dps is too high, but that's largely a result of Searing Pain spam, which is tough on tanks. We'll be fixing that.

    5) As we suspected, PvP dps is just too high given that the health pools of Cataclysm haven't kicked in yet. While competitive PvP is over for the moment, we still want the environment to feel better so we will be buffing resilience. This change might be reverted at level 85.

There will probably be more changes after another night of raiding and BGs. Many of the bug fixes we have made today will affect dps as well. Stay tuned.

With that said, here are the specific changes we made in reference to my previous post:

    1) We buffed the base points and coefficients of many warrior dps abilities. We didn't do as much to tanking abilities.

We buffed the base points and coefficients of many Ret abilities.

We buffed the base points and coefficients of many Feral cat abilities.

    2) We lowered the base points and coefficients of many Mage abilities, but lowered Fire more than the other two.

    3) We nerfed Shadow Word: Death, but it is possible we didn't nerf it enough. It should not be Shadow's biggest spell.

    4) We returned Searing Pain's damage to its 3.3.5 levels.

    5) We increased the benefit of resilience by 50% for players level 80 and below. The tooltips will probably not reflect this change.

We don't have any other changes to announce at this time. I am reluctant to mention additional classes or specs that we are looking at currently for fear of instilling excitement or panic.
