    Default Leveling insanely slow

So I have just done my first set of team to 68 and I'm about to switch onto the next team and do it again.
I figured I would keep all the characters levels relatively close. 1-60 is wave 1, 60-68 phase two, etc. Anyway, after completing 60-68, I never managed ot average more than 120k an hour.

This is surely really poor? I tried, Questing and instances. Sethekk halls I think was the best at 140k but I had to work hard for that. Is this the XP that I should be expecting or am I just being slow?

I can't PVP... Whenever I join we just lose cause I take up 5 valuable slots and epicly fail.

I just do random instances, but should I stick to a particular instance, which do you find it better?
I just did 1x Paladin, 4x Shaman, but I am about to do either Druids or Priests next.

Why stop at 68. 1-60 again would be painful. Keep trucking from 68-80, it is not that slow. mix up the questing with instance. Don't forget to level gathering + enchanting along the way. The true pain would be to have 10+ level 80s and realized you have 0 professions on them and go back to level professions.

The key here is not to get burned out. and focus on 1 group at a time.

If you still have RAF time, I'd get lots of combos (anything you might want to play, down the road) to 60th.
And then use your RAF granted levels, before RAF expires.

Once you have every combo you might want to play.
    Or your RAF time expires...

You can focus on one team at a time.
Which gets you the most time between having to repeat an area.

Or you can bounce between teams.
So you always use rested experience.

Either works, and is a preference call.

I have a pally/shammy team right now at 65, and they're getting around 120k per hour, and have been so far in Outland.

I thought I was running slow too, but I guess it's right on target.

Collection quests tank your xp/hour but I don't really see a good way around it. Boosting gets you more xp/hour if you're only leveling 4 or fewer but it also doesn't unlock many factions/reps or quest chains. /shrug

I only use all five toons in wintergrasp. In BGs I only use more than one toon in Alterac valley and Isle of
conquest (usually two or three toons in those). When I play other BGs I do them with one toon each time.

Usually I join random BG with a party, when it pops up I join with one char first to check which BG it is. If
its AV or Isle, I join with the others as well.

You could try Wintergrasp and Alterac Valley, as your group.
In the larger PvP battles, having five toons in one place is not much of an issue.

You'll get some honor, win or lose.
Which will eventually get you better gear, which definitely helps.
Playing with your team, will also make you better at it.
In particular look to your weaknesses, and practice/devise ways to be stronger in those areas.

    Over time you'll improve.
Once your five toons (or any number really), are as strong as an equal number of individual players, then smaller BG's might be an option too.
If you have Path of Frost, for example, you can control Stables, Blacksmith and Farm in AB.

here are my numbers @68 (all without rested xp):

    Rhinos 250k/hr (4 shamy @80 boost 4 lowbies)
    Dungeon 200k/hr (1 pala @80 boost 4 lowbies)
    Quest 180k/hr (4 lowbies)

In my experience, xp/hr doesn't really matter, its fun/hr that counts

    Mix and tke it easy...
