Huh. What are you going to use M15x for ? boxing wow ?

or simply just SC2/MW2 that sort of things.

The thing about allienware laptop (or just gaming laptop in general) is that there are so much heat generated in those tight and thin body spaces. You need proper AC + laptop cooler to play it.

When the temp is high, the throttle will kick in. Then the laptop slows down dramatically.

Thanks for the advice, I guess getting a decent cooler to go with the laptop won't be that difficult. Aren't Alienwares famous for their cooling system though?

Exactly, my Alienware and XPS laptops have NEVER "throttled", as the inbuilt coolers are more than capable of handling the heat.
The only time you need a cooler is if you are planning on having extended gaming sessions on your lap, and that's a comfort thing, not a requirement.

Just received the laptop. The specs are fine but the seller sent a laptop with the wrong color and the wrong name plate Quite surprising for a powerseller that has nearly no negative feedbacks. So far I find the fan very good and nearly silent compared to my old HP's. I haven't tried multiboxing yet, I will set up my accounts tonight and post some updates later.

Sounds like a bawling machine man! I wish i could afford something like that. But alas multiboxing itself is all the investment I can make!

I kept getting blue screens last night so I tried restoring Windows and now I cannot connect to the internet because my computer doesn't detect it's own Ethernet slot nor its wifi capabilities. I sure hope this is all a driver issue. So far I've had the error 2000-0123 (memory integrity test failed) appear several times and the Dell customer support wasn't very helpful. I already bought 5 30-hours game cards (you can pay for WoW by the hour here) but I can't really do anything with them yet.

Whenever I do the memory test the WCMATS test fails but when I try the diagnosis test it passes everything. Dell told me that if I pass all the diagnosis test then there is nothing wrong with my hardware but most of what I found on Google about people failing the WCMATS tests relates to hardware failures. I'm not that good with these tests and drivers, does anyone know what I should do? I'm sick of spending hours on the phone and being told the same things over and over.
