Patch 4.0 -- Australia Anyone? (Is this allowed)

Wasn't sure if this would be under Software for the patch, Hardware for the USB, and General for being random... Anyway...

I'm not sure if this allowed, and I know it's very random...

But, I live in Australia, and more so on an island where I can only get prepaid internet or wireless on a USB. Both which are fairly expensive, and have very low caps (2-3GB's of data).

Is it possible for someone to pop the 4.0 patch on a UDB Thumbdrive and mail me the patch and/or their patched client? I'll pay not only for the USB and the shipping. But I'll pay for the efforts.

$50 AUS Dollars would seem fair. I know it's not much... But the patch for me is about 1.95GB downloaded so far, and it's cost me $150.00 (This was after the first half was botched when a mistake happened) so I had to redownload it.

Anyway, if this sort of thing is not allowed please delete this thread, and I apologize if this is on the line of an infraction.

Without having read each and every line of the uela, a few points:

• There is an official blue thread on the official European wow forum that is asking the community to list all mirror sites where the patch can be downloaded. So I question that 'distribution' of the patch outside the wow client is illegal cq immoral.
• Paying someone for the distribution of software seems to be illegal in my book.
• Providing someone with the tools to make you a copy is not illegal in my book (i.e. send him the usb stick / dvd with enough stamps included).
• Covering the expenses for the tools to make you a copy ain't illegal either in my book (i.e. you pay him the price of a usb stick + the stamps).
• Paying/tip someone for the effort to make you a copy (i.e. walk to the post office, inserting the dvd, click copy, etc) seems to be illegal in my book.

Pretty weird maybe, but imo you can cover someones costs, but can't pay for his effort. That aside, I think you have a genuine case, and if you can't order the patch on DVD directly from blizzard, I think there is little problem to do it this way.

Only reason I am asking is because the data allowance I have is about $50 AUS for 1.5 gigs of data.

I am covering the cost for the person is how I look at it.

As for the "legality" of it, geez. It's just like taking your USB stick to your Mom's house and patching her system so she doesn't have to spend two weeks downloading broken files over crappy satellite internet.
