Had a few bgs now and i must say WOW. This is like playing in tbc, stuff actualy die easy and our heals are pro!

Though i get lag when i put out my totem drop. anyone else has this with 4 shamans?
I'm running 5, and although I haven't PvPd yet, I did do some dailes and mobs dropped like prom dresses. I usually kill chillmaw and the 3 cultists in about ~10 secs, this morning chillmaw dropped before the cultists even hit the ground. Five earthquakes later and they were dead.
I did notice some very annoying lag, so I went into my video settings. Seems like Bliz defaulted everything to "fair" on settings (or maybe it was "good"). Anyhoo, dropped all my slaves to "low", and got rid of that.

Yeha, had to put down the shadows and stuff on my slaves aswell. The new water seems to drain the system aswell. But i think there is some server lag or sumthing that causes the delay u get when u drop the totems.
...well I'm sure that had nothing to do with the mass chaos of patch day

Could've also been your client still streaming. My hard drive was going total apeshit when I was trying to move around in Dalaran.

To be honest, the more I read about the changes, the more Cataclysm might be the end of boxing for me. I can't really name a single change I like and I'm actually serious about that.. Being a bit of a pessimist at the moment though.
Didn't really pay attention to the patch, figured that because the background downloader was gone i'd have it. Well i didn't. Still downloading it atm.

No astral shift is pretty huge imo.
And for all the other stuff, i'm a BG player. I'm not that into arena. So i really wouldn't even mind if they nerfed our dmg by 5-10%, since most of it is overkill anyway, in my game. The new talenttree is a big mess up. Especially the fact how blizzard tried to sell it as: "we will remove talents that you MUST have to do well and give people more choice in how to spec." But they did reduce the amount of points, so less choice. They do force you to go to the 31th talent in a tree before you can spec in an other tree. etc. It's the oposite or what they're advertising if you ask me.
I don't want to put points in the lava surge, feedback or earthquake. I prefer some points in the restotree to increase survivabilty. But i can't do that. But blizzard does want us to have more options with this new tree. 1 + 1 = 3,5.
But that's just me and yes, i'm annoyed by this stuff.
Edit: And i didn't even mention no instant Ghostwolf (yet).
Ele shamans are pretty OP right now with the Lightning shield/earth shock thing :P
