    Default Heirloom Gear thought

    Hi all,
so as we all know the price of heirloom gear is going to skyrocket when the next patch drops. I am sure most of us have their set of heirloom gear and so this is no biggie but I was thinking, if I was to buy a set just before the patch dropped and then sold back to the vendor when the patch went live I would get quite a good exchange rate on the item.
I suppose the major unknown is if the item will be sellable back to the vendor for Justice points once the new patch drops.

Hahaha that's good creative thinking. Bur regardless if it's possible or not, some gm might consider this 'abusing' the system. So think twice I'd say.

Or maybe they will make all the items non-sell back after the patch because I'm sure they're aware of this.

Well with the huge amount of Justice points cost for heirloom items it would give quite a boost to start expansion with, e.g. 365 pts can get one piece of T10 gear whereas 1200 (if I recall correctly) gets 1 piece of heirloom gear.

I tried it. I bought something I was going to buy anyway before the patch, and attempted to turn it in after, and they only offered me the gold equivalent (275) of what the emblems of heroism would have been. Makes sense, as I had to downconvert my badges to heroism to get it, and they only exchanged heroism badges for gold.

Yup, I actually filled out missing heirloom weapons and some leather (I had all the cloth chest and shoulders) and plate pieces.
I think getting these items were much better value than doing so after the conversion of the badges. Frost being equal in value to triumph badges kinda sucked though IMHO.

Why that makes it easier for people who didn't raid to get gear...How many people have actually geared out their multi-box teams in tier 10 / heroic tier 10 ?
