Forgive me, I read this whole thread twice but I'm not really following the change to macro function and how it effects casting exactly. It looks to me like the same thing I've been using with my druid tank macro that looked something like this (from memory, not exact!)
/castsequence reset=combat Mangle, Lacerate, Lacerate
/castrandom Maul
This worked just fine before the patch and whatever changed with macro function, rotating through the cast sequence and firing maul every time it was available and I had the rage for it.
Is this the same idea that is being discussed here? Or are we able to call 2nd, 3rd etc buttons inside the macro like we did with click, and the ability will fire if it can and not hang the macro if it can't fire (i.e. not off CD yet), and the only thing that really changed is that we can't time macro spam speed with commas like we did previously with /click?
Maybe I answered my own question, it made a lot more sense as I thought it through to write it down LOL![]()
