Yes, I agree with Fat Tire, people would pay quite a bit to distinguish themselves from the masses ingame Even if that means a pink mount and a red dress.

The only thing that would actually mean a punishment would be not giving them anything special so they can't feel special

wow, that's freaking unbelievable. You'll notice they all played each other too. They all win traded with the other 10 top teams until they were all even at 1630. If that's not the most broke sh** you ever see then i'll be. damn, seriously??? I busted my ass with dk/pally to eek out 2k and i'm sure this crap goes all the way down the ladder.

i think it was back in S4 on misery BG (EU) they did just that, striped them of titel and gear after to many ppl made tickets. no ban though.
